Girlguiding Staffordshire Brownies
“Strictly Sparkly Sleepover”
17th—18th September 2016
We invite Brownies and their Leaders to a Girlguiding Staffordshire Brownie
Sleepover in The Blackpool Tower Ballroom. This is a county event for a maximum
of 700 people. Brownies together with their Leaders will experience a visit to
the following attractions: Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds, Tower 4D
Experience and the famous Tower Circus. The experience finishes with a dancing
lesson and competition in the Tower Ballroom, host to Strictly Come Dancing.
As part of the Strictly Sparkly Sleepover, Brownies will receive a day and
overnight bag to carry their belongings in during the visit and a badge as
souvenirs of their visit. The supper on Saturday and Sunday breakfast are
included in the cost.
The cost of this event is £70 per person incl Leaders.
This cost does not include travel to and from Blackpool or Saturday and Sunday
lunch. Leaders are asked to make their own arrangements for transport within
their Divisions.
The event starts from 10am Saturday and finishes at 11am on Sunday. Leaders
may want to take the opportunity to visit the beach and get some lunch before
the journey home.
To allow as many Brownies as possible to attend we are asking for 2 Leaders to
12 Brownies. The Leaders will receive bags and badges along with the Brownies
and visit the attractions with their own girls.
Bookings for the event will open on 11th January 2016
A deposit of £10 per person is required by the 31st January 2016 along with the
completed form.
Please note: no bookings will be accepted after the 31st January 2016 and places
will be offered on a first come basis.
The remaining balance must be paid by the 30th June 2016. If the balance is not
received by this date, sadly your places will be cancelled.
