HOME OF THE Thomas JAGUARS Jefferson UPCOMING EVENTS WINTER BREAK ENDS ON JANUARY 6, 2014 JANUARY 7: XAVIER UNIVERSITY VISIT NEXT DEADLINE FOR THE SENIOR AND JUNIOR DUES IS JANUARY 14 VOLUME 1, ISSUE 5 JANUARY 2014 The Thomas Jefferson State Swim Team participated in the Division II State Meet prelims on November 22nd and then in the finals on November 23rd in Sulphur, LA. The State team included: Cooper Chauvin, Cameron Stansberry, Nick Arruebarrena, Aidan Garrity, Justin Fellows, Emily Steinkamp, Meghan Cart, Margaret Romano, Nadia Toomer and Thea Martin. Team Captains were Emily Steinkamp and Meghan Cart. At the state meet Cooper Chauvin placed 9th in the 200 yard Freestyle, and 8th in the 100 yard Butterfly, Aidan Garrity placed 8th in the 500 yard Freestyle, Cameron Stansberry placed 15th in the 100 yard Backstroke, and Thea Martin placed 9th in the 200 yard Freestyle, and 4th in the 500 yard freestyle. The Girls 200 yard Medley relay (including Emily Steinkamp, Meghan Cart, Margaret Romano, and Thea Martin) placed 15th, the Girls 200 Freestyle Relay (including Emily Steinkamp, Meghan Cart, Margaret Romano, and Thea Martin) placed 14th, and the Girls 400 yard Freestyle relay (including Emily Steinkamp, Meghan Cart, Margaret Romano, and Nadia Toomer) placed 14th. The Boys 200 yard Medley relay (Cooper Chauvin, Cameron Stansberry, Nick Arruebarrena, and Aidan Garrity) placed 11th and the Boys 200 yard Freestyle relay (Cameron Stansberry, Nick Arruebarrena, Aidan Garrity, and Justin Fellows) placed 16th. Prepare for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FASFA] by registering for your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at pin.ed.gov Complete the FASFA online at fasfa.ed.gov for the upcoming 2014-15 school year.
