Make up a story about the day your two favorite zoo animals escaped! 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 Learn how to play a new card game, like Crazy Eights or Rummy. Do you know where chocolate comes from? Read Yum! Mmmm! Que Rico! Or another book about food today. Listen to tango music. Look up where it comes from and what instruments are used in tango music. Celebrate Gummi Worm Day by chomping sour worms and reading Yucky Worms by Vivian French. Go on a texture hunt around your house or yard. Can you find things that are bumpy, smooth, soft, hard, and scratchy? Read a story out loud with a friend today. Be a reporter. Come up with 5 questions about your parent’s job. Interview them, and write the answers in your journal. 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 Find a cookie recipe to make with your family. Add your favorite ice cream flavor between two cookies to celebrate Ice Cream Day! Swap a favorite book with a friend. How many words can you make using the letters in the word “clandestine”? Take a walk with an adult and bring your journal. Look for signs of life, like footprints or a spider web. Write down your observations. Go outside to read today.
