Our first insulators first layer was three cups stacked sideways, they held the ice cube. Our next layer was wet paper towels. We did that because we wanted the insulator to be cold. The next layer was tinfoil because we wanted to keep the coldness inside the insulator. Last we made a post to hold the door. Our insulator worked the second best. According to documentaries, our ice cube lasted 3 hours and 26. Our second insulators first layer is 1 one cup that holds the ice cube. The second layer is more wet paper towels which we did on purpose in effort to make our insulator like a fridge. The third layer is lots of tinfoil, to keep it insulated. Our door is wet paper towel, mixed with tinfoil. We designed it this way to resemble a fridge. If it acted like a fridge, we would have a ice cube for a while Our insulator worked for 3 hours and 10 minutes which was 16 minutes less than our first one. Next time we should add a drain and have less layers. We should empty the water from the paper towels so they are not as wet. We should have 2 cups this time one as the cup that holds the cold water and the other that holds the ice. Our 3rd insulator worked for 3 hours and 5 minutes. It was the worst, out of the three. The best insulator for ice is tinfoil because we used the most for our first insulator, and it did the the best. We used the least tinfoil for our last one and it did the worst. That proves it.
