La Pieta Prayer Group Pilgrimage to

Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape: Situated along the St. Lawrence River
at Trois Rivieres, this pilgrimage site is a haven of peace conducive to
meditation and prayer and calls us to an encounter with God. This is a
Marian shrine with a rich history and has been in the custody of the
Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate since 1902. We will see the old
Shrine, one of the oldest stone Churches in Canada preserved in its integrity,
the beautiful stained glass windows of the basilica, the Casavant Organ with
its 5425 pipes forming a maple leaf, the gardens with the Rosary Bridge and
Rosary Monuments and the Way of the Cross. We will celebrate Mass in the
Basilica and participate in the daily program offered at the Cape for our
spiritual nourishment. For more information, visit www.sanctuaire-ndc.ca.
Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre: A sanctuary of exceptional richness.
One can admire the architecture of the Romanesque Revival style, the superb
mosaics dedicated to the life of Saint Anne, the canopy which tells the life of
Christ, Chapel Ste Anne and the 10 chapels of the ambulatory. The Way of
the Cross as it passes through the woods surrounded by maple trees, the museum Ste Anne, the scala Santa, the magnificent organs, the inevitable chapel
of the Immaculate sumptuous and other discoveries. The Redemptorists,
guardians of the sanctuary for 130 years, announced by a lively and relevant
preaching, that the resurrection of Christ gives us new hope and gives meaning to our existence. Visit http://www.shrinesaintanne.org/eng/index.htm for
more information on the shrine.

Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica-Cathedral
On June 26th, 2013, Bishop Gérald Cyprien Lacroix met Pope Francis, while in
Rome, for a post-Synodal general audience on the new evangelization. During
this amazing meeting, Pope Francis said to Bishop Lacroix: "Don’t forget that
Québec has had great missionaries all through its history. We must rise up
Québec!". The feasts of the 350th anniversary of Notre-Dame of Québec will be
an excellent opportunity to "rise up" Our-Quebec, as well as Our-Family and
Our-Faith! Join Our-Feast and be part of Our-History!
This year is the 350th anniversary and Jubilee year of Notre-Dame de Quebec
Cathedral, the mother parish of all Catholic dioceses in Canada and the U.S. To
mark this occasion, the Pope authorized that a Holy Door be built, one of only
seven in the world. This Holy Door was opened on December 8, 2013 and will
be closed on December 28, 2014. It is a real door pierced in the wall of the
Cathedral; yet, to pass through this door is a call to spiritual transformation.
The door, though humble in size, is a pilgrimage destination to which special
graces are attached. It is a passage, a sign of something greater, an opportunity
for spiritual renewal, and a special gift to the Church. For more information,
