KCT Spring Bird Walks Get outdoors and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring by spending time with the birds! Join naturalist and birder Josh Fecteau for 4 weeks of guided bird walks at properties protected by the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. April and May mark the wondrous arrival of many migrant birds in southern Maine. From shorebirds, fycatchers, and warblers to sparrows, hawks, and ducks, the bird data we collect will be submitted to eBird and will help inform the KCT's future land management decisions. Binoculars are recommended, but birding without them is good fun, too! Novice birders welcome. ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** Sunday's (4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14) from 1-2:30pm: Grist Mill Property and nearby downtown: river, thickets, and yards -- meet at the North St. municipal parking lot Monday's (4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15) from 7-8:30am: Emmons Preserve: meadows, forests, and wetlands -- meet at the headquarters parking area on Gravelly Brook Rd.
