Special Monthly Newsletter

Specials at Dry Creek
April
Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope you had time to
relax and enjoy time with your families. As we go into the
last two months of school we will be very busy in P.E.
During April, the Kindergarteners through 4th graders will
be working on improving their soccer skills. We will be
emphasizing dribbling and passing skills in the primary
grades, with the 3rd and 4th graders playing small sided
games. The 5th graders will be working on their Physical
Fitness tests. Thank you to all the 5th graders for working
so hard on their drumming performance! It was a huge
success.
Coming soon: FIELD DAY! Mark your calendars for May
12th!
New this year I have decided to sell Field Day t-shirts with
a fun Dry Creek Field Day logo. You should be receiving a
flyer in your students Thursday folders with information
on how to purchase a shirt. This is not a fundraiser and it
is not required for participation in Field Day. Each Creek
has their own team color and a plain colored shirt will still
be provided if you do not purchase a t-shirt. If you decide
to purchase a Dry Creek Field Day t-shirt please make sure
you buy your students correct creek color as this is an
important way I organize and keep students safe during
the event.
