(May to Oct.), or areas subject to high moisture. • Contact your local DuPont representative before beginning a Group 28 soil-applied program. • Avoid making two successive applications of Verimark™ to young trees. for use. These Best Management Practices focus on the delivery of Verimark™ through soil drench and microsprinkler chemigation systems and key considerations for optimizing results for use of Verimark™ on young citrus trees. Application methods for soil drench or microsprinkler chemigation • Soil drench applications should be made with a minimum of ½ to 1 pint of water per tree distributed evenly around the tree root zone. Asian citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri) adults and nymphs • Microsprinkler chemigation systems should run for at least 5 to 10 minutes before injecting Verimark™ to achieve optimal uptake. • Best results may be obtained with drench application. • Keep treatment area weed- and grass-free to maximize delivery to the target. • Use rate per acre is 15–30 ounces. Maximum rate per year is 30 ounces per acre. • Maximum of two applications per year at the 15 ounces per acre rate, and one application for rates up to 30 ounces per acre. • Best results may be obtained when first application is made following a soil-applied program with neonicotinoids (Group 4A). • Apply Verimark™ 4–7 days before residual of neonic application is exhausted for continuous protection, and to allow full translocation into the aerial portions of the trees.
