Shrek Costumes
Please see below for your child's costume requirements. All costumes are due by July 29th. If your child's
costume list has items marked "will be altered" please have them in ASAP, no later than Monday July 27th.
Items maked with * are available through the MSHS costume room. Please note: Individual character costumes
are suggestions. If you would prefer to purchase or make your child's costume for a specific character, that is
also welcome. For group costumes (mice, guards, duloc performers, rat tappers) please send in what is listed

Shrek: Off white long sleeve shirt, earth tone plaid pants, vest (can be made if needed), brown belt or Shrek
costume
Donkey: Grey long sleeve shirt, matching grey pants, donkey ears and tail (can be ordered from amazon,
contact Michele for link), hooves/hand covers (can be made of needed) or donkey costume
Fiona: Fiona green dress, Fiona Wig, ogre ears, *Wedding dress, ?veil?
Farquaad: **Will discuss with Mrs. Liberton
Gingy: Brown sweatsuit (to be altered) or gingerbread man costume
Pinocchio: red shorts, short sleeve yellow button down shirt, red or blue suspenders, large blue bow tie, *yellow
hat or Pinocchio costume
3 Blind Mice / Storytellers: matching white dresses, white stockings/tights, black sunglasses and a black or
white plastic headband (headband to be altered for mouse ears)
Mama Ogre/Mama Bear: earth tone dress or skirt & blouse, shawl, apron, ogre ears, *hat with bear ears
Papa Ogre/Papa Bear: earth tone shirt, brown pants, *fur, *vest, *ogre vest, ogre ears, *bear ears/hat
Captain of the Guard: *guard costume
Puss in Boots: orange sweatsuit, black musketeer hat, black cape (we may have), *boot covers
Big Bad Wolf: Granny style flannel nightgown, *wolf ears/cowl
3 Little Pigs: Overalls or jeans, pink long sleeve shirts (solid or plaid)
Witch: *black witch dress, witch hat
Peter Pan/Pied Pieper: Green tshirt (oversized/to be altered), brown tshirt, green leggings/pants (if green can
not be found, brown could also work), *green cape, *green hat, *brown hat
Ugly Duckling: brown long sleeve tshirt (to be altered), 2 brown boas (preferable one light and one dark brown to be altered), brown tutu (to be altered/can be made), yellow or orange tights/leggings
Young Fiona: Green Fiona dress
Humpty Dumpty: *Humpty Dumpty costume
Teen Fiona: *Green Fiona dress
White Rabbit: white long sleeve shirt, white or grey pants, white rabbit ears, *vest
Knights: black pants, white long sleeve shirts, *smocks
Alice in Wonderland: Alice costume
Little Bo Peep: Pink dress, white apron (apron can be made if needed)
Thumbelina: Thumbelina costume (we may have skirt & belt)
Dragon: *red dragon dress, dragon headpiece (can be made if needed)
Elf: brown or tan oversized tshirt/tunic, brown or tan leggins, *brown elf hat
Bishop: *red gown, bishop hat (can be made if needed)
Little Miss Muffet: *blue dress, apron with spider (can be made)
Dwarf: oversized longsleeve Red shirt/tunic (to be altered), brown pants, dwarf hat & belt (can be made if
needed) or Grumpy dwarf costume
Mad Hatter: brightly colored/mismatched suit jacket, vest, pants, oversized bow tie, oversized top hat. (We may
have hat) or Mad Hatter Costume
Captain Hook: *blue coat, *white ruff, black or blue pants, Pirate Captain hat, hook or Captain Hook costume
Sugar Plum Fairy: Purple or Pink Fairy dress with wings
Robin Hood: Oversized brown tshirt/tunic (to be altered), brown, red or green tights/leggings, *brown hat, wide
black belt (can be made)
Little Red Riding hood: red dress, *red cape (the cape we have does not have a hood) or Little Red Riding
Hood costume
Goldilocks: *yellow dress, white apron with bears (can be made if needed )
Tinkerbell: *Green dress, *fairy wings or Tinkerbell costume
Fairy Godmother: Any kind of fairy dress (check Halloween costume websites)
Duloc Performers: Black tights (girls) or Black Pants (boys), Red Gildan brand tshirt (please purchase tshirt
from AC Moore to ensure that they are the same color. If you are unable to do so please let Michele know and
you may send in an envelope with your child's name, size and $4 (the cost of the shirt) and she will purchase it
for you. If you would like Michele to purchase your child's shirt, the money must be in by this Friday, July 24th.)
Rat Tappers: white button down long sleeve shirt, black pants/tights, *silver vests, *silver bow ties, *silver top
hats with rat ears
Skeletons: black long sleeve shirts, black pants (*glow tape will be added to these pieces so if your child
required a black shirt or pants for another characher, they will need 2 separate shirts/pairs of pants)
