How to Take an AR Quiz
There multiple ways to access the Accelerated Reader website that allows students to take AR quizzes. The
most important thing to know is that quizzes must be taken on campus. Quizzes may not be taken at home.
Some teachers require students to take quizzes only in the classroom, while others allow students to take quizzes
in media center as well. When students have read a book and are ready to take a quiz, there are a number of
options:
Option 1: Open the internet browser and go directly to the F C Martin school account on the AR/Renaissance
website: https://hosted260.renlearn.com/66172
Option 2:
Click the “take a quiz” link from
the Accelerated Reader page
of the media center website
Option 3:
Click the “take a quiz” link form
the F C Martin Destiny home
page
Option4:
Look for a desktop shortcut on the classroom
or media center computer.
To log in, student must enter username and password. Typically, the username is the student’s first initial and last
name, as one word ( i.e. jsmith) and the student ID number is the password. First graders user their first name as
their username. There may be variations to this protocol so please ask the homeroom teacher or language arts
teacher if there is a problem logging in. Once the student is logged in, the student searches for the book title.
Once the book is selected, the student will need the teacher or media center staff to enter the monitor
password. Students may take up to two quizzes each day. More than two quizzes in one day require teacher
permission.
