Central Avenue / Sherman 0326 (A) Alexander, Ethan Allen Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine / Driving While Suspended-Vehicle Impound White 1996 Nissan Maxima I stopped Alexander because he was suspended. He attempted to conceal his center console while he retrieved a marijuana pipe. I questioned him about what else was in the center console and he opened it revealing what was obviously a spoon with white residue that he admitted was likely for methamphetamine. Alexander was cited and released for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While Suspended -Violation. His vehicle was impounded. Cleared by Arrest. DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/15/2015 TIME: S. Comstock and Sunset 0120 Hours (A) Lofton, Justien Eugene Warrant Arrest, Failure to Register Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed weapon (Brass Knuckles) 1992 Mazda Mx3 Stopped listed vehicle for traffic violation. Records Checked revealed Lofton came back with a warrant out of Florence PD for Disorderly Conduct. While conducting a search of his persons I located a set of brass knuckles. Cleared By Arrest DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/16/2015 TIME: Chevron Gas Station 0200 (A) Schultz, Dustin Lee (A) Rust, Bradley Thomas Schultz-Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine / Warrant Arrest Rust-Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Report of a suspicious male in the bathroom of the Chevron not coming out. When I arrived I found Dustin Schultz, an admitted drug user outside. Schultz had a valid warrant and was detained. He told me there was another male in the bathroom still. I located Rust in the bathroom with drug paraphernalia. A further search of his person revealed syringes and methamphetamine. A search of Schultz's property revealed more needles and methamphetamine. Both were transported to the jail. Schultz was lodged on the warrant and issued a citation for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Rust was cited and released for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine due to overcrowding. Cleared by Arrest. DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/16/2015 TIME: Front at Bambi, Oakland 1630 (A) Brown, Tommy Ray DUII, Warrant Arrest 2002 Dodge Caravan I stopped Brown for speeding. On the initial stop I noticed signs of impairment. Brown came back with a warrant out of Lake County, so he was arrested and lodged. At Douglas County Corrections. Clear by Arrest DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/16/2015 TIME: S.Comstock/Sparks 2350 (A) Yates, Rex (A) Averett, David William Yates-:DUII-Controlled Substance / Reckless Driving / Driving While SuspendedMisdemeanor /Refuse Urine Test / Unlawful Possession of Methampehatime Averett- :Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Green Buick Rivera Stopped Yates for traffic infractions and observed signs of impairment. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine and marijuana. Yates's passenger Averett was cited and released for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Cleared by arrest. DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/17/2015 TIME: 1200 Hwy 138 West, Sutherlin 1230 D1-Farrar, Donald Raymond D2-Badillo-Lillard, Anjelica S Following Too Close V1-Grey 2009 Honda Accord V2-Green 2000 Mazda Protégé Badillo-Lillard was west on Hwy 138 and was stopped waiting for east bound traffic so she could turn left into a driveway at the location. Farrar was also west bound at normal speed and did not see that Badillo-Lillard had stopped. He tried to slow and avoid Badillo-Lillard by going around her on the left, but she was turning left as he did. His vehicle forced her vehicle into the ditch. No injuries. Farrar was cited for Following Too Close DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/18/2015 TIME: 126 E. Central Ave, Sutherlin 2340 (A) Kennerly, Michael Warrant Arrest x2 Kennerly turned himself in on two outstanding warrants. He was transported to Douglas County Jail and lodged. Cleared by arrest DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/19/2015 TIME: 160 E Fifth Av 1630 (A) Rose, Christopher Frederick Warrant-Failure To Appear I contacted Rose at 160 E Fifth Ave knowing he had a Failure To Appear warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections where he was lodged. Cleared By Arrest DATE: Sutherlin Police 08/20/2015 TIME: 254 Camas Ct, Sutherlin 0222 (A) Baskin, Matthew Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Reckless Endangering / Disorderly Conduct II Reports of shots being heard in the area came in, one witness observed Baskin in his backyard with a rifle and noticed he shot it multiple times. I contacted Baskin at his residence and he confessed to shooting his .22 rifle in the air, trying to scare "tweekers" away that were stealing his metal and bike parts. Baskin was arrested and later transported to Douglas County Jail, where he was lodged. Cleared by arrest
