Buying your ticket—easy options!

By internet: visit www.metrarail.com and follow links
to “Tickets” where you can use American Express, Discover,
Mastercard or Visa. Allow at least 5 business days to receive ticket.
 At the station: Metra’s 80th Avenue Station in Tinley
Park has a ticket agent on duty, weekdays from 5:00 am until
12:45 pm and LaSalle Street Station has agents on duty 7 am
until 8 pm on weekdays, and 10:30 am until 6:30 pm on Saturday.
Personal checks are accepted only from Illinois, Wisconsin and
Indiana residents who present appropriate state ID.
 On the train: When there is no agent on duty at the
station you may buy a one-way ticket or Weekend Pass from the
conductor on the train. If an agent is on duty at the station, yet
you board without a ticket, you will also pay a $3.00 surcharge.
 Refunds: No refunds or replacements are permitted for
tickets that are lost, destroyed, stolen or unaccounted for. For
refunds of unused or partially used tickets mail refund request to
Metra Rev. Acct. Dept, 547 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago IL 60661.

Smoking is not allowed on trains, in stations or on platforms.
Reserving seats with parcels or coats is prohibited.
Refrain from placing feet on seats or upper deck railings.

passengers are attempting to exit or board at their stations.
When using electronic devices or cell phones listen or
speak at a volume that does not disturb other passengers.
Maintain a clean environment—don’t litter in trains or stations.

be allowed on, or will be asked to leave the train.
