USED UNIFORM
Many thanks to everyone who has sent in used uniform that your child has
outgrown. We now have lots of spare uniform and do not have space to receive
any more.
KESWICK HALL AND THE WILLOW PIRATES
Everyone had a lovely surprise when we got back from the Christmas holiday as Mrs
Booth and her team had revamped the main playground over the holidays. There is a
super ship under the sail canopy surrounded by activity boards. Willow class are
showing how to sign and say “arrrrr” in pirate language! The ship and boards just need
the imagination to take Parkside pupils anywhere they want and good ideas are
something we have plenty of.
As the weather gets better the new equipment will be in full use and we say thank you
to Keswick Hall who have again helped us buy something extra special for the children
at Parkside. The support and donation from Keswick Hall has helped make this happen.
The main playground was also resurfaced during the Christmas holidays. New
playground markings will be put in place after the half term holiday.

PLAY AND LEISURE QUESTIONNAIRE
Norfolk County Council are writing to parents and carers of children and young people
with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) asking if they would complete
a short online questionnaire about play and leisure opportunities in Norfolk.
The aim of the questionnaire is to help us to find out whether we have got play and
leisure opportunities right for children and young people with SEND in Norfolk.
Your answers will help them to review the current services that are provided and
consider whether we need to plan to do things differently.
The link to the survey is http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/playandleisure/
But if you would prefer a paper copy of the questionnaire, please contact Claire Jones
by telephone on 01603 224331 or by email [email protected].
ECO CLASSROOMS
Parkside is having new eco Classrooms, which are being built where the mobile used to
be. The works are ahead of schedule with the excavations completed and we are all
very excited to see them completed.
