"Alice in Wonderland" will be presented by the NPA dance classes this Thursday, Nov. 20th at Coconino High
School Auditorium at 7pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
Attention all Sophomores: A summer time leadership opportunity is available. HOBY’s flagship program
the STATE LEADERSHIP SEMINAR (LS) allows high school sophomores to recognize their leadership
talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and
community. Students attend three- or four-day seminars and participate in hands-on leadership
activities, meet leaders in their state, and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how
to make a positive impact in their community. The seminar curriculum is based on the Social Change
Model of Leadership and develops leadership from three perspectives: Personal Leadership, Group
Leadership, and Leadership for Society. For interested sophomores, please stop by Ms. Wilkinson’s office
to learn more details.
Progressive Dinner Follow Up: If you or your parents helped with the cooking/decorating for the progressive
dinner, please pick up your serving pieces or decorations from either the faculty lounge or from Mrs. Wilkins’

Freshman, sophomores, and juniors, the Army and Coast Guard Academy will have students on campus
Monday, November 24, from 1:30-2:20, to talk to any students who might be interested. Sign up at the admin
desk.
This is the last week to order Butterbraids. Find a band, choir, or string student to make that happen this
week. All forms from groups must be turned in on Monday, November 24.
Hey Students and Staff, we are kicking off compost again. The compost bins are BRIGHT yellow and are placed
in both buildings. Feel free to compost only food waste except meats, oily foods, or dairy products!
NPA Music presents: A Night with NPA JAZZ, Saturday, November 22, 6:30pm at The Museum of Northern
Arizona. See a member of Jazz Band, Jazz Choir, or Beginning Jazz Choir for tickets.
The Great Food Race is here! The senior class challenges you to help the homeless. Help your grade claim
victory by bringing the following:
6th grade: Soup
7th grade: Shelf-stable, nonperishable instant meals (ravioli, mac and cheese)
8th grade: Trail mix or trail mix ingredients
9th grade: Peanut butter, jelly, crackers

10 grade: Snack bars (granola bars)
11th grade: Canned goods
12th grade: Happy Bag Supplies: soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, lotion, lip balm, pocket packet of
