Assignments are set according to content taught. Diaries & Due Dates All students are expected to complete assigned homework by the due date. Diaries are used by students to keep track of assessments and homework. A term assessment calendar is given with estimated due dates for each assessment. Homework Centre- Wednesday 3:15-4:00 pm Sample Assessment Calendar Expectations of Students To arrive at class prepared with required equipment To complete assigned work set by each teacher To maintain the school image in the community To follow the 4 E’s school model – Respect, Responsibility, Maximise learning time and Service To take care of property - personal, other’s and school To be respectful and truthful at all times Use appropriate language Detention/Homework Recovery Detention/Homework recovery runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes for students that have not completed required classwork, homework or assignments or who exhibit poor behaviour Students are advised to bring a note from a parent identifying why they have not completed homework or an assignment by the due date. Bullying/Harassment PCS has a “Zero Tolerance” of bullying. If a child is found to be bullying or being bullied, the child will immediately be removed from the area where it is taking place and the incident fully investigated. It is important that your child informs teachers of any issues in order for teachers to take action.
