in association with Toyograph® goes live The BTHA, in association with Bureau Veritas, launch a unique service to help members continue to uphold their excellent safety record 20 May 2013: Today marked an important milestone in the process of toy safety regulatory compliance as the BTHA launched Toyograph®, an online industry toolkit for managing the chemical requirements of the Toy Safety Directive. Developed in association with Bureau Veritas, Toyograph® is free and available exclusively to full BTHA members and selected clients of Bureau Veritas. Toyograph® is the latest among a whole raft of toy safety guidance and support offered by the BTHA to full members. The BTHA and its members take issues of toy safety extremely seriously and BTHA members have a proud record of making safe toys -‐ ensuring their products receive stringent testing and comply with all the latest toy safety legislation. Toyograph® helps toy companies identify the substances that are likely to be present in a material and then target their compliance strategies in the most effective way. This new risk-‐based approach means that toy manufacturers can focus their resources on those substances that have a higher risk of potentially causing concern and to target testing at these areas to ensure toys meet all legislation. The new tool aims to help members to continue to deliver toys safely and affordably to consumers. Only full BTHA members are able to access Toyograph®.
