The City
Bilbao is a municipality and city in Spain, the capital of the province
of Biscay in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. The
climate in Bilbao is milder than in most other parts of the peninsula,
rarely falling below freezing in winter, or rising above 35ºC in
summer. Bilbao is the poster city for successful urban renovation and
