candidate‟s knowledge of distinguishing main ideas
from supporting details. Candidates will be given
clear instructions as to what they have to
summarise and the length of the summary. [25

of functional grammar, structure and usage of the
language. All the items in this question will be
compulsory. They will consist of sentence
completion, multiple choices or other short answer
