First-time Afterschool Program
(ASP) user?
Once you are fully registered ASP
is simple to use! Just send your
child to school with a note to
his/her teacher saying that they
will be attending ASP and be
sure to include which days they
will be attending. This schedule
will be the same schedule you
gave to the ASP staff. It is important to let your child’s teacher
know their schedule so they are
not sent home on the bus or sitting by the office waiting to be
picked up. It’s also helpful to include when that schedule will be
starting.
After that your ready to relax at
work or home knowing that your
child is having a fun and safe day
at Afterschool Program!
If there are any days your child is
not going to be coming to ASP
send in another note to the
teacher (be sure to include how
your child will be getting home!)
and be sure to call (or text!) your
Site Director. At Brown School
your Site Director is Heather
Kaufman and her cell number is
723-3872. When leaving messages please be sure to include your
child’s name.

Afterschool Program Newsletter
Welcome to Brown Elementary Schools Afterschool Program.
We are excited to start a new school year with you! Each month
you will receive an Afterschool Newsletter with all the happenings at ASP. Please be on the look out for upcoming events and
permission slips as the year goes on!
Clubs
We offer 6 to 8 clubs each session, 3-4 on Monday and Tuesday and 3-4 on
Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is reserved for field trips, special guests and
events.
Mondays and Tuesdays Clubs for Session #1:
Culture Club: Learn about different cultures around the world.
Fall is Back: Fall themed activities that teach you about the Fall season.
Mad Science: Learn more about the fun of science and how things work!
Apple Club: Apple crafts, cooking, and facts. Apples are interesting and
yummy!
Wednesdays and Thursdays Clubs for Session #1:
Community Club: Community is all around us! Let’s see how we can be
apart of it!
Under the Sea: Under the sea is the place to be in this informative club
about the ocean and the animals inside!
Magic Club: The mysteries of magic are fun and entertaining. Learn a
few tricks!
Autumn Harvest Club: Autumn is all around us, what is it? What are
some things you can do in Autumn? Let’s find out in this fun club!
Sessions and Clubs:
We break our year into five different
sessions. Whenever we start a new session our clubs change so your child always has something new to look forward
to!
