- Choose 3 objects from around the house. E.g. clock, light switch, a toy, box of cereal

NUMERACY HOMEWORK:
- Draw 8 circles in your child’s homework book (big enough for them to draw objects

the top of the circle. Then, ask them to draw objects inside the circle to match the
number. E.g. the circle that has number 5 at the top – students can draw 5 flowers
inside.
LITERACY HOMEWORK:
- Read home reader and parents to sign student planner
- Practise sight words
- Ask your child to choose their favourite toy that they would like to describe. Students
are to draw this toy in their homework books. Encourage students to use correct
colour pencils e.g. if the toy has black wheels do not use yellow pencil. Then, ask
students to orally describe their toy using attributes: colour and number. E.g. my car
has a red roof and 4 wheels.
NUMERACY HOMEWORK:
- Practise oral counting forward 0-20 (taking care of pronunciation: e.g. 16- is not

Dear Parents,
Please do not forget to return your Parent/Teacher Interview slips with your preferred time. If your Prep child has siblings in other grades,
please specify this on the sheet so we can work with their teachers to choose times that are close together. We do follow the ‘first in, best
dressed’ when accommodating to your preferable times 
We hope you all have a rewarding week!
The Prep Teachers 
