Theme: Side Effects of Paida and Lajin — Making You
Slimmer, Prettier or More Handsome
Story I: Paida and Lajin helped a man lose weight and self heal
gout, hypertension, heart disease, prostatitis, stomach problem
and migraine
The desire of reducing weight is the same for both man and woman, but man is
not admitting it! Mr. Lee’s sicknesses: His gout, hypertension, heart disease,
prostatitis, stomach problem were all self-healed. His wife posted the photos of
his weight loss for all to share.
1
Mr. Lee is a tool manufacturer. One day his friend brought a design paper and
asked him to make a bench. He made it and didn’t know that it is a Lajin bench.
His friend, Mr. Lam ordered dozens of benches and later increased to several
hundred benches to be given to relatives and friends in Malaysia, and to friends
in Indonesia, Honk Kong, Britain, Germany and South Africa. Besides giving them
the benches, he also teaches them earnestly how to do Paida and Lajin. How
generous! What a kind deed! Mr. and Mrs. Lee were shocked to hear Mr. and Mrs.
Lam talk about how Paida and Lajin cured all sorts of diseases. Is there really
such a magical thing? When they were still having doubts, Mr. Lam’s friends also
came to order dozens or hundreds of benches to be given to others! It is because
they were all healed by doing Lajin!
With so many health problems himself, Mr. Lee immediately tried doing Lajin. His
gout, hypertension, heart disease, prostatitis, and stomach pain were all
improved. The migraine that tortured Mrs. Lee for years was gone. Mr. Lam told
2
Mr. Lee that he was not thoroughly cured and advised him to attend a workshop.
Though still in doubt, Mr. Lee attended a 7-day workshop. As expected, his
sicknesses were not cured yet. All kinds of healing crises appeared during the
workshop and lasted for a week after the workshop. The joint pain caused by
gout before hurt him so much that he had to lie in bed. The result of experiencing
the healing crises is that he now has better health and he feels so light! Besides
recovering health, he is most happy with the side effect of Paida and Lajin:
reducing weight.
Story II: Losing weight, and self healing diabetes, heart problem,
leg pain, numb hands and coloring allergy
I got to know Lajin & Paida from my father in November 2010.
He had heart problem, diabetics and leg pain. My father encouraged me and my
husband to attend the workshop because he sees a lot of improvement in himself.
The doctor wanted him to take insulin, but my father kept on giving excuses to
the doctor, on the other hand he was very hard working doing Lajin. Finally the
doctor agreed with him not to inject insulin. And now he has stopped the diabetic
medicine and his blood sugar level is normal.
Before my dad had a Lajin bench, my mum just helped him by holding his leg up
and pressing the other leg down for 1-2 min. After a week my dad’s leg pain was
gone. Before that he had to go for leg massage twice a week. That was how he got
his confidence to continue. My father has continued the Lajin for 2 years and he
has lost 13kg from 97kg to 84kg. I have never seen my father with his current
weight before.
…
With persistent Lajin, Father lost 13k.

Story III: Hair growing again after doing Paida
Hello, Master Xiao!
I am the man you met during the free lecture you gave in Hanzhou on 21 st May
and who had hair growing out again after doing Paida. I’ve been reading your
blog (http://blog.sina.com.cn/yixingtx) and practicing Paida and Lajin for nearly
a year. I know by experience that this method is simple, safe and effective. It is
suitable for anyone who believes in this method and puts it into practice.
…
I was perplexed by hair loss in the last eight years. In the beginning the hair loss
was serious and I became bald in two years’ time. There was no hair on the top of
my head and it looked shiny and the hair pores could not be seen. For this reason
I had tried every possible means to find a cure, but to no avail. At first I went to
the hospital and was diagnosed with Seborrheic alopecia. I took a lot of medicine
but my hair became less and less. I bought shampoo that helped to grow hair. I
also took physiotherapy massage that claimed to help prevent hair loss. I was
torn and helpless. After reading the blog of Master Xiao, I thought I should be
able to cure my condition. I therefore started to pat my head.
I started patting my head from June last year. I started doing Paida every day
after lunch for about 10 to 15 minutes. The strength I used was within my
tolerance. (I patted myself quite strongly and I felt hot after patting). As I had too
little hair, I wore a hat in winter. This was to prevent getting cold and to hide the
ugly look (looked old with no hair). At the end of last year, my wife found that
there were tiny soft hairs growing on my head. I was so happy as I could see hope.
From then onward I patted with more confidence. I felt so good by touching the
hairs that grew out again. I got out the camera and took photos of the head. It was
a pity I didn’t take the photo of hair loss or else the contrast would be more
persuasive. I would touch the new hairs that grew out and feel so happy. Honestly
speaking, I couldn’t have made it if I used other methods and spent more money.
Now I have a deeper understanding of Paida and Lajin. Belief is important, and
persistence is more important. Be firm with yourself especially with your
sickness.

Story IV: Paida on a Breast
…
After half an hour, we traced Sha down to the end, and I finally found that the
problem was located in my right breast. With the rhythmic slapping sound, this
kind of “self-torture” really made me excited, for generally, a woman’s breast does
not get to be slapped so violently. Thinking of one of my relatives, a 45-year-old
woman, who lost half of one breast in a surgery, and many o ther women who
have breast problems, I had to try very hard to clear the meridians around my
breast.
The whole process lasted for more than one hour. My friend was very tired. (It is
a pretty hard work. I shall have more friends working together next time.) The
result was that there were lots of bluish bumps all over my right breast and the
red Sha emerged in the beginning around the armpit had faded. Slapping the sore
arm revealed that my real problem was in the breast, and I felt so happy even
though my skin and muscle hurt. Practice has proved that the human body is
wise and will guide us if we listen to it.
My Health, I Manage!
In a few days, my period came again, and it was smooth without any pain. My
right arm, which had been torturously sore for many years even if I did Paida a
few times, is no longer sore after this round of Paida. Thank God!
With this successful experience, I am going to have my other breast patted some
days later. A woman can never afford to be careless about her breasts.

FAQs:
1. What is Paida?
To pat and slap external skin areas to expel
poisonous waste (in the form of Sha) and to restore
health by facilitating the smooth flow of Qi (vital life
energy) throughout the meridians (energy
channels in the body).
2. What is Lajin?
To stretch and to restore functions of the Jin (tendons) where Jin-Suo (contraction
of tendons) has occurred, so as to self heal illnesses, restore health and prevent
aging.
Mr. Hongchi Xiao explaining Lajin while a man lies on a Lajin bench
It is a simple way of proactive health management. When carried out properly, it
can enhance overall health and promote longevity by improving Qi (vital life
energy) and blood circulation, and clearing vital energy channels of the body.
This in turn improves various conditions, acute or chronic, such as high blood
pressure, diabetes, gynaecological and prostate disorders, dislocations as well as
pains caused by Jin-Suo.

3. What is Sha?
It is “poisoned blood/toxic waste” in the body drawn out during Paida, cupping
or skin scraping.
During Paida, slapping the skin forces toxins in the blood to cling to the walls of
blood vessels. Reflected on the skin as colours and bumps, these “Sha” will not
appear on the skin of the healthy parts of the body, but will only surface on those
parts or acupoints with diseases and latent illnesses.
4. What are “healing crises”?
Healing crises refer to the body’s recovery responses when the Qi (vital life
energy) is charging at health problems.
They could include pain, numbness, soreness, swelling pain, itchiness,
drowsiness, nausea, etc.
When a problem area is being charged at by Qi (vital life energy), many types of
excretions may be expelled from the body, e.g. vomit, sweat, rashes, burps, wind,
faeces, tears and snorts.
These recovery responses may appear unpleasant, whereas, all the discomforting
symptoms are detoxification in process. Hence, they are good signs of
improvement, just like darkness before dawn, they are gifts from nature.
пЃ¬ Paida and Lajin are both an accurate "physical check-up" and precise
self-healing in action.
 You may experience various recovery responses, i.e. “healing crises”
during and after Paida and Lajin. Do not be afraid. Paida and Lajin DO
NOT create diseases you don’t have. “Healing crises” are experienced
when your self-healing power, activated through Paida and Lajin, targets
at and dissolves past, existing and potential health problems, which you
and your doctor may not be aware. Continued Paida and Lajin can speed
up the self-healing process.
