REGISTRATION FEE:
Early registration fee is €200 for participants, €100 for PhD students and €100 for
accompanying persons.
The early registration deadline is February 15, 2013.
The registration fee after February 15, 2013 is €250 for participants, €120 for PhD
students and €100 for accompanying persons.
The registration fee can be paid by bank transfer to the Croatian Radiation
Protection Association, Bijenička c. 54, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia

The fee covers all printed materials, certificate of attendance, a copy of the
Proceedings, welcome party, coffee breaks and the Symposium dinner.
Please pay the registration fee as soon as possible. In case you decide to make your
payment only several days prior to the Symposium, you are kindly asked to bring a
copy of your payment confirmation to the Symposium.
CANCELLATION of REGISTRATION:
Written notification of cancellation must be sent to the Organizing Committee (email or fax). The fee will be refunded in an amount reduced by 30%.

PRESENTATIONS:
Papers can be presented in the form of poster or oral presentation.
Oral presentations are limited to 15 minutes (including discussion). We kindly ask
lecturers to take inot account the proposed length. Presentations can be held in
English or Croatian, but interpreters will not be provided.
A PC for PowerPoint presentations will be available. Presentations on a USB memory
stick should be given to the technical staff at least 30 minutes before the start of
the section.
Posters can be displayed during all three days of the Symposium. Posters should be
prepared in vertical (portrait) orientation, not exceed 90 cm × 110 cm, and the
text should be reeadable from a distance of 1.5 m.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM:
The conference will begin on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 9:00, while the closing
session is planned for Friday, April 12, 2013 at 13:00. Registration will be possible
from Tuesday, April 9, 2013 late afternoon.The conference dinner is intended for all
participants and is planned to take place on the evening of Thursday, April 11, 2013.
A detailed program will soon be made available at http://www.hdzz.hr and sent to
all participants by e-mail.
PROCEEDINGS:
Papers shoul be sent in doc or docx format to [email protected]
Submitted papers, written according to the instructions, will be published in the
Proceedings which will be distributed to the participants at the Symposium. The
extended abstracts of all papers in the Proceedings will be published in the INIS
database. All submitted papers that does not follow the given instructions shall be
returned to the authors for corrections.
Deadline for paper submission is February 15, 2013.
Authors can prepare their papers according to the instructions of the Journal
Archives of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology (http://hrcak.srce.hr/aiht?lang=en)
The Editor-in-Chief of the Journal has offered to publish selected contributions in
the form of original research papers, after going through peer-review.

ACCOMMODATION:
The venue of the Symposium is the Valamar Koralj Romantic Hotel***

will also provide accommodation.
Reservations for accommodation at the Hotel are to be made by the participants by
e-mail (the reservation form is attached to this announcement)!
The booking deadline is February 15, 2013. After this date, the rooms will be
released and might not be available
CLIMATE:
Mediterranean. The temperatures in April usually range between 12-20oC. There is
also
a
possibilit

CURRENCY:
The Croatian currency is the kuna (kn) (Croatian for “marten”), which is divided into

Pleso airport is about 20 km from the heart of Zagreb. You can take a taxi, but a
much better option would be to take the Croatia Airlines bus (approximately 4 €)
which takes you to the main bus station in the centre of Zagreb (the time table is
