ARTISTS’ OPEN HOUSES 2014 All houses are open weekends during the festival (18th/19th, 25th/26th October 1st/2nd November 2014) 11am - 5pm (unless stated) CANTERBURY FAVERSHAM HERNE BAY MARGATE WHITSTABLE www.canterburyfestival.co.uk www.ekoh.org.uk W elcome to East Kent Open Houses 2014, or EKOH for short. Now in its fourteenth year, EKOH has gone from strength to strength with more artists than ever, over 200 spread over 67 houses and studios. We are also delighted to include Margate and Cliftonville for a second year and hope to extend our range around Kent’s Creative Coast. T he artists’ trail gives the public a personal insight into how an artist works within their specialised field. It opens up a wealth of information and interest to pave the way for making new contacts and discovering opportunities for anyone interested in taking up new fields of creativity. The trail is your chance to visit artists in their homes, to speak to them in person about their work and to find out what is happening in your local area. This is a rare opportunity to experience a diverse array of high quality work in a relaxed setting; with so many venues to choose from there should be something for everyone. So, plan your trip and prepare to be inspired and surprised. We now have a Facebook page you can “like” and a Twitter account @artistsOpenHous, so you can keep up to date and communicate with us. @artistsOpenHous https://www.facebook.com/pages/East-Kent-Artists-OpenHouses/439830849424465 For further information on each individual trail, please contact: CANTERBURY Paul Elliott [email protected] FAVERSHAM Anne MacLaren 01795 591555 HERNE BAY Mandy Troughton 07890 065046 MARGATE Jill Pantony [email protected] WHITSTABLE Paul Elliott [email protected] O AK 2 D OA SR EN BR O AD H EP ST ST RO AD CANTERBURY AD RO RY UR ST ST UT SO ER OA D H KI NS RO AD AC R NS AT E G ES ST S GE ST GE NE W AR O LD NE RT IN SR OA D RO AD ER OA D R EG LL CO MA LDS NER Y FIE TA L OS LD R RO AD 06 D 8 TH ED RIV E RE NC LA W D O VE RO AD B2 HE LB ST RO AD AD RO ER T O EF L TO N HA CK IN G NT AV E ETHELBERT ROAD NUN EL U ST TO G N I PP 5 YR UR RB E NT LOWER HARDES N 1 N LA LEY W CA E LES ET  M O CR TH  4 E AV P RO AD AD RO D N UC U SO E LAN E B2 06 RB 8F U AU RY SS ET T R R VE DO L DO VE W AN NE E E KL AD RO BRIDGE LD O D AN AL ZE ROAD O YM RA AD RO LOW B2068 RO AD 6 ST AUGUSTINES ST ZEA ON AT H D OA DR LAN HE D OA IA R R TO M W LLO HO DO VE NORMAN RD ILL RO AD ES RO AD VIC HOL D EA ST R RG O MO DO VE M N SIM LA OR VE EA W LO GE ON EET LONGFORT ST ST IN HO LM ES RO AD LN RD W RT H RIMS WAY PILG AR M SE O MONASTERY STR ST ET G RG E N LA RO ST RE ATE O AR E BRO A D STREET RE LA GE R GO AP E CH AD RO DS LN AS TL E C T RG ST ET ITA L SS BU ET PE R KS N SP GA ST HA W CK LO ED GA ST TE RS GH ON GT IN TT RU ST VE HA G GR O VE ST ST OU HO C ASTLE ROW AL EH IT AD O LR D OL HI ST N 0 ST VE TA RT H TE PE ST RO AD HA RS TE HI 05 E WH TE W A2 U CA K NIG H PE SUN ST SU ST LL S AVE MS W AY ILL RH M ME MI AD RO N QUEEN RHIE RS P Y AR LIT UG D N OU H LN RO O N LA BO H RT N O 3 E N ST KIN EW LN AD RO N E AV S ST EP N ST AT IO ON ND LO ED RE ET ST ES T RO AD RO AD RO PER LE FO TA B RE RO AD HE TS AD RO ST ET RE ST R TU AD RO AD W HI RT Y W RY ME EA 7&8  CANTERBURY TRAIL 2014 Maps and leaflets will be available from Tourist Information Centre & Art Galleries.
