Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. Psalm 19 7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Thoughts • Decisiveness of Solomon • Was warned by David of those who had caused trouble and Solomon didn’t ignore these issues • Fulfilling the Law of God • Don’t forget about the phrase “Inquired of the Lord” … Year’s of Reign • Saul (I Samuel 13:1) • 30 Years Old when made King • 42 Years he reigned • David (2 Samuel 5:4) • 30 Years Old when made King • 40 Years he reigned (33 in Jerusalem)
