Dr. Levent AKKOYUNLU was born in 1961 in Kirkuk. He graduated from Hacettepe
University Business Administration Department in 1986. He received his master’s
degree in 1991 and his doctoral degree in 2008 from İstanbul University Department
of Business Management and Organization Policies.
Some of the duties carried by Dr. Levent AKKOYUNLU, whose professional career
started in 1986, are; Contract Employee in Prime Ministry Headquarters; Assistant
Specialist in Prime Ministry Housing Development and State Partnership
Administration; Specialist and Head of Study Group in Prime Ministry State
Partnership Administration; Head of Research, Planning and Coordination
Department, Head of Finance Department and Vice President in Petrol Ofisi A.Ş.;
Head Consultant of CEO in BOTAŞ; General Secretariat of Greater Municipality of
Gaziantep, in order. His previous duties are Vice President Responsible of Financial
and Commercial Affairs and Executive Board Member in Çınar Boru Profil San. ve
Tic. A.Ş.
In addition, Dr. Levent AKKOYUNLU served as auditor in Tamek A.Ş., Toros A.Ş.,
Ray Insurance A.Ş., Antalya Cotton Weave A.Ş. and TURUSGAZ A.Ş. in 1989-2011;
and Board of Directors member in Toros Fertilizer A.Ş., Bel-Pet A.Ş., Petrol Ofisi
Sports Club, GASKİ Energy and Gazi Consultancy A.Ş.
He was assigned as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in the Board of
Directors meeting dated July, 24th 2014, to be effective by September,1st 2014.
Dr. Levent AKKOYUNLU, who is married and has two children, can speak English
and Arabic.
