RWE & Turcas Board of Directors Visit Power Plant
and School in Denizli
Denizli, June 5, 2014
Executives of RWE & Turcas Güney Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. visited the Denizli Combined
Cycle Natural Gas Plant on Thursday, June 5, prior to the Board of Directors meeting
in Denizli. After the meeting, executives visit two primary schools built with the
support of RWE & Turcas, and made a courtesy visit to Governor Abdülkadir Demir at
his office.

Batu Aksoy, RWE & Turcas CFO Olaf Eschmann, CTO Hans-Jürgen Petschke, Ayşe Baykut
Dallal, Arkın Akbay and Plant Director Seyhan Karabulut visited the Denizli Combined Cycle
Natural Gas Plant, RWE &TURCAS Güney Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. joint venture with a
production capacity of 775 MW. Executives witnessed the operation of the state-of-the-art
plant on site.
After the plant visit, the group visited two primary schools where 23 new classrooms were
built with the support of RWE & Turcas to provide 800 students with better schooling
conditions. The group was received by Principal İbrahim Özdemir and Assistant Principal
Mehmet Uysal in the Kaklık Primary School; Principal Abdülmuttalip Ünlü and Assistant
Principal Nuri Aykut in the Kaklık Middle School, and Principal Abdi Yılmaz and Assistant
Principal Sündüz Kaya in the Şehit Eyüp Altın School.
