Βιογραφικά στοιχεία H Άννα-Μαρία Χατζηθεοδώρου διδάσκει Αγγλικά για Ειδικούς/Ακαδημαϊκούς Σκοπούς στο Κέντρο Διδασκαλίας Ξένων Γλωσσών του ΑΠΘ και στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα «Μεταπτυχιακή Ειδίκευση Καθηγητών Αγγλικής Γλώσσας» του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου. Στο παρελθόν δίδαξε στo Ohio State University στην Αμερική και στο University of Cambridge στην Αγγλία. Κατέχει πτυχίο στην Αγγλική Γλώσσα και Φιλολογία από το ΑΠΘ, μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στην Αγγλική Γλώσσα και Φιλολογία από το Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio και διδακτορικό δίπλωμα στην Εφαρμοσμένη Γλωσσολογία από το ΑΠΘ. Για τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές πήρε υποτροφία από το Fulbright Foundation και το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών. Έχει δημιουργήσει διδακτικές σημειώσεις για το Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας, το Τμήμα Φιλοσοφίας-Παιδαγωγικής, τη Νομική Σχολή, το Oικονομικό Tμήμα, το ΙστορικόΑρχαιολογικό Τμήμα και το Τμήμα Θεάτρου, καθώς επίσης και ένα ηλεκτρονικό σώμα κειμένων (language corpus) που περιλαμβάνει γραπτές εργασίες φοιτητών της Αγγλικής. Ονομάζεται GRICLE (Greek Corpus of Learner English) και είναι μέρος του ICLE (International Corpus of Learner English), το οποίο διαχειρίζεται το Πανεπιστήμιο της Louvain στο Βέλγιο (με τη συνεργασία της κυρίας Μαρίνας Ματθαιουδάκη). Έχει συμμετοχές με ανακοινώσεις σε διάφορα συνέδρια στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό και έχει δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε πρακτικά συνεδρίων, επιστημονικά περιοδικά και βιβλία. Το βιβλίο της Comprehension and production of written discourse in a university EFL context εκδόθηκε το 2008 από τις Εκδόσεις Ζήτη. Ερευνητικά ασχολείται με τον ακαδημαϊκό λόγο, τις ακαδημαϊκές δεξιότητες και τα ηλεκτρονικά σώματα κειμένων και τις εφαρμογές τους.
