This session will set the scene, present the objectives of the conference, introduce the themes to be discussed in depth
in the afternoon.
This session will bring together and discuss the outcomes of the breakout sessions, and deliver the conference
immediate output, in the form of a ‘conference statement’ summarizing in a few paragraphs the key conclusions,
including indications for future European R&I priorities.

intermodal nodes), and explore the commonalities and the transferability of best practices across modes. This format
