Tre borse di studio di $1000 ciascuna, saranno assegnate agli studenti che abbiano completato almeno un anno d’ università. Oltre alle borse di studio concesse per il rendimento scolastico, quest’anno verrà assegnata una borsa distinta di $1000 attinta dal “Fondo Giovani dell'Associazione”. Essa sarà attribuita ad uno studente che mostra un eccezionale talento nelle seguenti discipline: sport, musica o arti. Le domande, che dovranno giungere nel nostro ufficio entro e non oltre il 24 gennaio 2014, saranno esaminate da una giuria imparziale. Gli studenti che nel passato hanno ottenuto una borsa di studio dall'Associazione non sono più eleggibili. Il comitato “Borse di Studio” comunicherà i nomi dei candidati selezionati. Le borse di studio saranno consegnate durante il Gala di San Valentino dell'Associazione che si terrà presso il Crowne Plaza Hotel, sala Plaza Volare, l’8 febbraio 2014. Trois bourses (d’une valeur de 1000 $ chacune) seront accordées aux étudiants qui ont terminé au moins une année d'études universitaires. Cette année, outre les bourses octroyées pour la réussite scolaire, une bourse d'études distincte (d’une valeur de 1000 $) du Fonds pour les jeunes de l'Association, sera décernée à un/e étudiant/e qui présente un talent exceptionnel dans le sport, la musique ou les arts. Nous exhortons tous les membres/étudiants à soumettre leur candidature. Les étudiants qui ont déjà reçu une bourse de l'Association ne sont pas éligibles pour appliquer de nouveau. La date limite pour les candidats à présenter leur candidature est le 24 janvier 2014. Le Comité de sélection avisera les candidats gagnants. Les bourses seront présentés lors du Gala St -Valentin/dîner-dansant de l'Association le 8 février 2014 à l'hôtel Crowne Plaza, salle Plaza Volare. Three bursaries (each valued at $1000) will be granted to students who have completed at least one year of university. This year, in addition to the bursaries awarded for academic achievement, a separate bursary (valued at $1000) from the Association’s Youth Fund will be given to a student who shows exceptional talent in sports, music or arts. We strongly urge all members/students to submit their applications for review by the bursary committee. Students who have already received a bursary from the Association are not elegible to apply again. The deadline for candidates to submit their application is January 24, 2014 . The selection committee will notify the winning candidates. The bursaries will be presented during the Association’s St -Valentine dinner/dance gala on February 8, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Plaza Volare hall.
