RUBINETTI A SFERA 6570-6571 BALL VALVES 6570-6571 IMPIEGO I rubinetti, illustrati in questo capitolo, sono considerati “Accessori a pressione” secondo quanto definito nell’Articolo 1, Punto 2.1.4 della Direttiva 97/23/CE e sono oggetto dell’Articolo 3, Punto 1.3 della medesima Direttiva. Essi sono stati progettati per essere installati su impianti di refrigerazione commerciale e condizionamento dell’aria civile ed industriale che impieghino i seguenti fluidi refrigeranti: R22 , R134a , R404A , R407C , R410A ; R507 RUBINETTI A SFERA 6570-6571 / BALL VALVES 6570-6571 APPLICATIONS The ball valves, shown in this chapter, are classified “Pressure accessories” in the sense of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, Article 1, Section 2.1.4 and are subject of Article 3, Section 1.3 of the same Directive. They are designed for installation on commercial refrigerating systems and on civil and industrial conditioning plants, which use the following refrigerant fluids: R22 , R134a , R404A , R407C , R410A ; R507 ed. 001-RS-ITA/ENG 3 appartenenti al Gruppo II (così come definito nell’Articolo 9, Punto 2.2 della Direttiva 97/23/CE, con riferimento alla Direttiva 67/548/CEE). Per applicazioni specifiche con fluidi refrigeranti non elencati sopra, sempre appartenenti al Gruppo II, contattare l’Ufficio Tecnico della Castel. I rubinetti a sfera serie 6570, 6571 sono stati approvati dagli Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Ball valves series 6570, 6571 are approved by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. of the United States according to UL 207 Standard. COSTRUZIONE CONSTRUCTIONS La particolare concezione costruttiva dei rubinetti a sfera Castel: • garantisce il bilanciamento interno delle pressioni, a rubinetto chiuso • consente la bidirezionalità di flusso del fluido refrigerante e, conseguentemente, il montaggio sull’impianto senza dover tener conto della direzione del flusso. • scongiura il pericolo di esplosione/espulsione dell’asta di manovra La saldatura laser del corpo e la guarnizione di tenuta, posta sull’asta di manovra, assicurano la perfetta ermeticità del rubinetto. L’apertura e la chiusura del rubinetto è ottenuta ruotando l’asta di manovra di un quarto di giro. I fermi alla rotazione realizzano sia la completa apertura sia la completa chiusura del rubinetto. In aggiunta una freccia stampata sulla testa dell’asta di manovra indica la direzione del flusso. The specific design of Castel ball valves: •ensures the internal equilibrium of pressures when the valve is closed, •permits the bi-directional flow of the refrigerant and, consequently, the assembly on the plant without taking into account the direction of the refrigerant. •prevents any risk of ejection or explosion of the spindle The laser welding of the body and the seal gasket, assembled on the spindle, prevent any leaks. The opening and closing of the valve is realized by turning the spindle one fourth of a turn. A standstill in turning realizes either a full opening or a full closing, moreover the arrow printed on the spindle head shows the flow direction. I rubinetti a sfera si suddividono in due categorie: • Rubinetti tipo 6570 (a passaggio pieno) e tipo 6571 (a passaggio ridotto) senza attacco di carica. • Rubinetti tipo 6570/A (a passaggio pieno) con attacco di carica. Questi rubinetti sono forniti completi di meccanismo di carica 8395/A1 e bocchettone cieco 7020/20. Ball valves are available in the following two types: •Type 6570 (full port) and type 6571 (reduced port) without access fitting.. •Type 6570/A (full port) with access fitting. These ball valves are equipped with valve core 8394/A and blind nut 7020/20. Le parti principali dei rubinetti a sfera sono realizzate con i seguenti materiali: • Ottone forgiato a caldo EN 12420 – CW 617N per il corpo e il cappellotto di protezione asta • Ottone forgiato a caldo EN 12420 – CW 617N per la sfera • Tubo di rame EN 12735-1– Cu-DHP per gli attacchi a saldare • Acciaio, con opportuna protezione superficiale, per l’asta di manovra. • Gomma cloroprene (CR) per la guarnizione di tenuta verso l’esterno. • P.T.F.E. per le guarnizioni di tenuta sfera The main parts of the valves are made with the following materials: •Hot forged brass EN 12420 – CW 617N for body and cap that cover the spindle •Hot forged brass EN 12420 – CW 617N for ball •Copper tube EN 12735-1 – Cu-DHP for solder connections •Steel, with proper surface protection, for the spindle. •Chloroprene rubber (CR) for outlet seal gaskets •P.T.F.E. for seat ball gaskets INSTALLAZIONE INSTALLATION La brasatura dei rubinetti a sfera va eseguita accuratamente con una lega a basso punto di fusione. Occorre prestare attenzione a non dirigere la fiamma verso il corpo che, se danneggiato, potrebbe compromettere il buon funzionamento dell’intero rubinetto. 4 ed. 001-RS-ITA/ENG The brazing of ball valves should be carried out with care, using a low melting point filler material. It is important to avoid direct contact between the torch flame and the valve body, which could be damaged and compromise the proper functioning of the valve.
