THE « BISSES »
8 « bisses » of which 6 have water flowing within their banks. The walks along the « bisses »
are ideal for families as easy and of little variation.
A free map is available at Nendaz Tourisme.
The « bisses » are fragile and require a lot of maintenance :

Do not damage the banks in any way, as water which flows out of its banks can
cause serious damage

Do not ride your mountain bike along the bisses, It is forbidden

The « Bisses » shuttle bus drives you to Veysonnaz and you can hike back along the « bisse de
Vex », and the « bisse du Milieu ».

fork in the road, come back via the « Tena »
road.

« Crettaz » (road running behind our office). At the
« Crêtes » junction go straight along the little path until
you reach the church by a gravel path, pass below the
school and follow the road through the « Bornes »
quarter back up to the resort.

From Nendaz Tourisme go towards la Crettaz (road
behind our office). At the intersection « de la Crête »
follow the foot path sign. Walk through the village and
follow the signs towards Beuson-Planchouet. Once on
the bridge, come back the same way.

Pushchair hikes
Departure from Planchouet
Bisse of Vex
From the chapel, go direction Beuson.
200m further, the bisse starts on your right. It is possible to walk
30 minutes without problem with a pushchair. You can then come
back on the same trail.

the restaurant Les Bergers) until the Chottes de Tortin

You can visit the « Chottes d’alpage » (mountain cow sheds) and say hi to our famous Hérens
cows.
Come and meet the herdsmen during the summer with breakfast on the pastures.

Who are we?
We are a holiday resort which lends itself perfectly to family holidays. Families must feel that
they are welcome here.
What do we want?
Our objective consists in offering to children as well as their parents or those accompanying
