Only after a live interview has been concluded or a conditional offer of employment was made, is the employer allowed to ask about an individual ‘s conviction history other than Off-limit Matters.(前科については面 接が終了する前に質問することは禁止される) Before the employer may take an adverse action based on conviction history or unresolved arrest, the employer is required to provide the candidate or employee an opportunity for 7 days to present evidence that the information is in accurate the individual has been rehabilitated and other mitigating factors.
