At the moment the only dates for your diary are:TUESDAY 18TH MARCH 2014 – Pre-school AGM. Details to follow.
SUNDAY 30TH MARCH 2014 – Mothering Sunday Service. I am sure the children will
be invited to sing at this service.
THURSDAY 22ND MAY 2014 – The hall will be used for European/local elections and
there will be NO pre-school session.
For your information and to enable you to plan your holidays so that your child does not
miss the end of term leavers’ service, we break up for the summer holidays on Friday 18th
July 2014.
Thank you for supporting Children In Need when we raised £172. Thank you also for
your gifts at Harvest time, your donations for the children’s stall at the church fair and
your support at the Toy Service.
We have been working on setting up a website for the pre-school and hope to have it up
and running this term.
During the Spring term we will be reviewing the following policies:Equipment & Resources
Health & Safety
Settling in
Confidentiality
The policies are always available in a folder on the top table in the corridor.
A FEW REMINDERS:
 Please do not park on the yellow zigzag lines in St Mary’s Avenue OR in the busy
parking bay outside the hall (this is for Pre-school and Church staff only). EVERY
TIME YOU PARK THERE IT ENDANGERS A CHILD’S LIFE.
 Velcro shoes or plimsoles – no laces, marked with the children’s names, to be
worn please.
 Illness. If your child has been sick or suffered from diarrhoea or a temperature,
DO NOT send them to pre-school for 48 hours.
 Birthdays. Should your child wish to bring in something to celebrate their birthday
we ask that you send in biscuits or small cakes, but please NOT SWEETS as this
causes a lot of problems.
 Notice Board. Please read the notices on the notice board regularly, and check the
table at the top of the corridor.
 Arrival times. Please would you make every effort to arrive on time, both at arrival
and pick-up time. We like to get the door locked quickly when the children arrive
and take the register, this is for your children’s safety. Thank you.
We wish you all a joyous and peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With best wishes
Pat and the staff
