Making Japan fit for a global world
During this brainstorming participants
will identify and discuss some of the
priorities that Japan needs to address
to more efficiently leverage the
opportunities of the global economy:
What would TPP bring to the country?
What other new trade agreements
such as EU-Japan EPA/ FTA should
benefit Japan’s economy? What are
the other steps that would help
achieve a greater integration of Japan
in the global world, and make Japan’s
corporations, citizens and the society
at large more at ease in dealing with
globalization? What are the risks
these changes would entail? The
priorities identified by the participants
will serve as a thread line in the
ensuing sessions.
