禅フォトブックフェア開催のお知らせ
会期：2016年7月22日 - 8月31日
会場：青山ブックセンター本店 (東京都渋谷区神宮前5-53-67 コスモス青山ガーデンフロア B2F)

禅フォトギャラリーが今までに刊行してきた書籍が一同に会するブックフェアを東京・表参道の青山
ブックセンター本店内にて開催いたします。
禅フォトギャラリーは日本を含めたアジアの写真に特化したギャラリーとして2009年にオープンい
たしました。これまでに数々の写真展を開催し、その都度現代の日本や中国の写真家による写真集や
展覧会カタログを発行してきました。第35回土門拳賞を受賞した山内道雄の『DHAKA 2』や今年の
木村伊兵衛写真賞にノミネートされた薄井一議『昭和92』、そしてイギリスのテートモダンで開催さ
れたグループ展「Performing for the Camera」に招致された東京るまん℃『Orphée』など、これまで
私どもが出版してきた書籍はゆうに80点を超えています。また西村多美子『しきしま』、須田一政
『わが東京一〇〇』、石川真生『港町エレジー』、倉田精二『Flash Up』など今となっては貴重とも
いえる入手困難な写真集を再び流通させるべく、こうした写真集の復刻版、あるいは改訂版にも力を
入れております。近年ではアメリカのNazraeli PressやLittle Big Manなどの海外の出版社とも積極的
にコラボレーションし、共に技術やアイデアを相互に出し合い、新たな写真集作りにも挑戦しており
ます。
今回のブックフェアでは、これまで禅フォトギャラリーがリリースしてきた写真集の軌跡を知る絶好
の機会となっております。青山ブックセンター本店、または渋谷・表参道近辺にお越しの際には、是
非お立ち寄り頂けたら幸いです。

Zen Foto Gallery is pleased to announce that a photobook fair of Zen Foto Gallery publications will be
held at Aoyama Book Center, Omotesando Main Store during July 22 to August 31.
Zen Foto Gallery was opened in 2009 in Tokyo, specializing in Asian photography. Along with most
exhibitions, we publish limited edition photography books or exhibition catalogues, producing a resource
for enthusiasts of contemporary Japanese and chinese photography. So far, we have published over 80
titles. Our publications to date include “DHAKA 2” by the 35th Domon Ken Award Winner Michio
Yamauchi, “Showa 92” by Kazuyoshi Usui who was nominated for Kimura Ihei Award this year, “Orphee”
by Tokyo Rumando, which was featured in the “Performing for the Camera” exhibition at Tate Modern
this year. We also make reproductions of classic Japanese photography books, such as “Shikishima” by
Tamiko Nishimura, “Waga Tokyo 100” by Issei Suda, “Flash Up” by Seiji Kurata and “A Port Town Elegy”
by Mao Ishikawa. Additionally, we collaborate with overseas publishers, such as the joint publications
“Yodaka” by Toshio Shibata and “Tokyokei” by Issei Suda with Nazraeli Press and “AKB80’s” by Seiji
Kurata with Little Big Man books.
At this book fair, we mainly present the photography books and some of the exhibition catalogues. We
invite you to visit the book fair at Aoyama Book Center this summer.
