7 ドックヤードガーデン
Dockyard Garden
A dry dock for ships originally built in 1896.
Located on the ground to B2 floors of the
Landmark Plaza, various eateries surround the
dock where outdoor events are held on sunny
days. Quite a view from above.
地上 69 階という、日本で一番高いとこ
ろにある展望台。360 度の大パノラマが
眼下に広がる。

riginally a huge shipbuilding dock area, Minato Mirai 21 continues to develop as a dynamic
commercial-cum-tourist spot, with new roads, new bridges and new buildings going up
continuously. The new Minatomirai Station on the Minatomirai Line, located in the deep underground
B3 floor of the Queen’s Square Yokohama, has made this modern waterfront more convenient.
かつて大きな造船所だったみなとみらい 21 地区。その名残をドックヤード・ガーデンに
とどめ、今や一大商業観光エリアとして海へ海へと拓け続ける。いつの間にか新しい道路
ができ、橋がかかり、ビルが建つパワーのある街。クイーンズスクエア横浜の地下 3 階と
いう大地下にある、みなとみらい駅の開設と共に、一段とアクセスがよくなった。

A well-tended lawn behind the Maritime
Museum. Good to picnic on sunny days, watching
the people trotting down the Kishamichi to the
World Porters.

Sky Garden
Japan's highest observatory located on the 69th
floor with a 360-degree view.

JR 桜木町駅とワールドポーターズ方面
を結ぶボードウォーク。かつて山下公園
の先まで貨物を運んでいた臨港線の線路
が残されている。
ちょうど横浜マリタイムミュージアムの背
中の部分にあたる、整備された芝生広場。
日当たりが良く、ここからの汽車道やワー
ルドポーターズ方面の眺めは抜群。

4 よこはまコスモワールド
Yokohama Cosmo World
An amusement park with a gigantic Ferris wheel,
water-plunging roller coaster, and many other
rides and games.
一番人気は東洋最大級の大観覧車だが、
急角度で水に突っ込むジェットコースタ
ーもすごい。国際橋を挟み、運河の両側
にある。

5 汽車道／運河パーク
Kishamichi/Unga Park
A pedestrian's boulevard linking JR Sakuragicho
Station with the World Porters. The remaining
もともとはこの地に 1896 年に竣工した造
船所。ランドマークプラザの横にあり、い
ろいろなレストランが周りを取り囲んでい
る。晴れた日にはコンサートや各種イベン
トも。
8 臨港パーク
Rinko Park
A boardwalk park going around Pacifico
Yokohama. Take the flight of stairs going down
from the right side of Pacifico.
パシフィコ横浜の北側に広がるボードウオ
ークと芝生広場からなる公園。少し奥まっ
ているので人が少なく、ゆったりできる。
9 新港パーク
Shinko Park
A green park located right next to the Shinko
Pier.
潮風を受けながらのんびり散策できる、水
辺の公園。

Akarenga Park
Finally after many years of refurbishing, the
century-old red brick warehouse area, complete
with its former railroad tracks, was opened to
the public as a waterfront park.
映画やドラマに何度も登場してきた 19 世
紀の面影を色濃く残す「ハマの赤レンガ」
の隣、緑の芝生が海に映える公園。旧横浜
港駅のプラットホームや、旧横浜税関跡の
遺構が残されている。
