PARIS DESIGN WEEK 2013
主旨
日本インテリアプランナー協会は、インテリアに関する企画・デザイ
ン・設計・監理の専門家から構成された職能団体です。「人と環境の調和」
をコンセプトとして、東京で隔年開催されるインテリアデザインの国際展
「IPEC」を主催するとともに、ムーブル・ド・パリ、ミラノサローネ「日
本のかたち展」
、100％デザイン、等にも参加して参りました。
今回はメゾン・エ・オブジェの主催者である SAFI（ Salons Francais
et International ）の後援を得て、パリ・デザインウイーク 2013 において
「JAPAN STYLE & DESIGN NOW」をテーマに、16 組のデザインユニッ
トによる日本の最新のデザインプロダクトを発表いたします。
ここでは、インテリアプランナー、デザイナーと企業等のコラボレーショ
ンによる日本の新しいデザインとライフスタイルを提案しています。
この展示を通して日本のインテリアデザイン、プロダクトの考え方や技
術、アイデアを広くプレゼンテーションすると同時に、多くのビジネスの
機会と国際交流を図れれば幸いです。

Greetings
Japan Interior Planner’s Association is a professional association composed
of specialists who plan, design, draw, and direct the interior decoration.
We have organized IPEC, the international exhibition for interior design
held once for two years at Tokyo, while having participated to other
international exhibitions such as Meuble de Paris, exhibition “Form of
Japan” at Milano Salone, 100% Design etc.
This time, in partnership with SAFI (Salon Français et International), the
organizer of Maison et Objet, we have pleasure to welcome you to our
exhibition on the theme of “Japan Style & Design Now” at Paris Design
Week 2013. We are introducing you newest design products from Japan
by 16 design units.
We would like to propose Japan’s novel designs and lifestyles produced by
the collaboration of interior planners, designers, and companies.
Our exhibition aims to introduce worldwide Japanese interior design,
products, technologies, and ideas, and also to provide the occasion for
business and international cultural exchange.

The form of the flower was made from connecting a square petal.
It is the same as a flower opens,
A square petal turns into a soft petal,
Unawares, a petal spreads toward outside from the center.
“tubomi”(Bud), “kagaribisou”(Bonfire grass= Cyclamen), “tessen”(Clematis),…
Every moment, it changing petal was shut up into this form.
I am glad when you have various flowers found out in this form.

見立て
日本文化には見立てという独特の文化があります。
見立てとは、ある物の様子から
それとは別のものの様子を見て取ることである。
例えば、枯山水の日本庭園のように水を無くして水を感じ、
立つ石に大地を感じる。
そのままの自然ではなく人の手が加わることにより、
超自然の風景が広がる世界。
自由に捉えてください。
生命の源である水。水面に一滴から広がる様子を
思い浮かべ、ガラスに吹き込みました。

MITATE
“MITATE” is a unique culture in Japan.
It is about interpreting and seeing something from something else.
For instance, Japanese see water in Karesansui, a garden without water.
See the earth in standing stone.
It is not simply the way just things are,
but you see the super-nature through the nature with human intervention.
Please interpret freely.
Water is the essence of life.
We breathe inside this glass an image of a drop of water influencing surface of silent water.

The light and shade.
Japanese Silk was setted in succession,and it makes very delicate rhythm and gradation by the
light.This Japanese Silk was made by typical technique called「Salt Shrinkage」, and it pursues

in a life
日本的美意識は「間」の感覚や、光と影から感じとる「気配」に代表される。
1200 年前、人々は移ろいゆく四季折々の姿を着物の襲（かさね）の色に託し、
表現してきた。衣（きぬ）をかさね、光を与えると、柔らかな陰影による
グラデーション（匂）が生まれる・・・
この絹は「塩縮法」という技法により、限りなく繊細で有機的なフォルム
ができ上がる。連続し重なった衣を透過する灯りが、豊かで静寂な時間を
与えてくれる。

紅葉による日本の美の記憶 - 時間軸の追体験
日本ではカエデ等に代表される広葉樹の
枯れ、散っていく瞬間に見せる彩りを
“紅葉”と呼び、楽しむ文化があります。
本作品は、永続的な美しさではなく、その刻々が与えてくれる

地球環境にやさしい植物です。
鵜殿のヨシは、平安時代から悠久の時を経て、今も語り継がれています。

Moment by Moment
Japanese aesthetic sense with natural preserved flowers - time passing continuously
Koyo is autumnal broadleaf such as maple. In Japan, people enjoy looking Koyo falling to the
earth little by little. Not eternal but changeful beauty gives us aesthetic sense about passing time
and hope for life filled with vitality. This sense and hope are expressed in this flower work using
Koyo.

There is a place Udno in Osaka Japan.
Udono is famous for yoshi.
Udono has a large reed field (about 75 hectare).
The Yoshi has been used as Japanese classic wind instrument Hichiriki so called Lead.
Yoshi works shutting CO² and contributes protecting global warming.
The history of yoshi is very old people use them since Heian Age(AD 794 - 1192)
We propose to daily life with yoshi paper.

日本の灯りのための切り紙飾り「爽爽」さわ - さわ
ほの暗い中に浮き立つ「切り紙飾り」は白く清々しい。
日本の神社仏閣や祭りの風景のなかで、
日常的に目にすることができる「切り紙」
。
古来から「切り紙」には日本人の祈りが存在します。
さわさわと、ひらひらと、揺れる気配に息をのむほど
清楚な美しさを感じさせます。
「さわーさわ」とは風が木立の葉をそよがせながら、
さわやかに吹くような様子。
すっきりと澄み渡るような心情を表す“ことば”を灯りに見立てています。

SAWA SAWA –The Art of Paper Cutting for a Japanese Light –
"Kirikami" ornament in the dim light; its pure whiteness stands out and brings a sense of purity
and refreshment.
“Kirikami” is the traditional art of paper cutting. By only folding and cutting two-dimensional
papers, craftsmen create three-dimensional ornaments for sacred occasions. One can see it
normally in shrines and festivals. Traditionally, "Kirikami" symbolizes a prayer in Japan.
How graceful they are when rustling in the soft breeze… The magnificent sight takes my breath
away. The title “SAWA SAWA” is the sound to depict the trees singing in the fresh breeze. This
lighting represents the serene and refreshing sentiment.

この作品では、山水、花鳥、墨跡など「光と共にある」ものではなく、
「影」を切り取り「掛軸」に仕立て上げてみた。

客人、季節、昼夜を考慮し、掛軸でその「場の格式」までを表現すること

Kakejiku (Scroll)
There is various expression in water.
Rikyu Sen emphasizes the importance of hanging a scroll (kakejiku) in an alcove (tokonoma) in
one’s tearoom.
He suggests that one should honor the dignity of the room by selecting a kakejiku to harmonize
with the nature of the visitors, the season, and whether the occasion is being held during the day
or at night.
For this work, images of kakejiku are projected on Japanese paper, with beams of light shown in
colors suggesting mountains, water, flowers, birds, and black ink, that are typical of old Japanese
houses.

A "ripple" beautiful particularly and adopted in a traditional design also in it.
One drop of water falls on the quiet water surface, and it begins to spread.
Please enjoy the motion which many ripples stir and infiuence each other by the magic
of the repetition through a kaleidoscope.

八百万の神々という言葉があるように
日本では自然の中に精霊や祖霊を見出してきた。
自然と祖霊は渦を巻くように一つに溶け合う。
山や雲を眺めるたびに故人を偲ぶ。
骨壷。今は亡き人々の骨が収められた壷。
目にするたびに祖霊の存在を思い出し、
さりげなく畏敬の念を抱かせる。
偲ぶための器。

『靴を脱ぐ』日本独特の文化。
外から内へ。隔てられた空間へアプローチする儀式。そこには、普遍な和
の美意識がある。
『HUFEN』では、
日本独特の文化・美意識を「和」の技術を持って伝えていく、
ライフスタイルを提案するブランドです。
展開するアイテムに共通するのは文化・美意識の中にある「遊び心」と「物
語」
、そして「和」技術に裏付けられた高い品質です。
『HUHEN』の道具は部屋に置かれているだけで、自分の人生が満たされる、

Animism / Shinobu
There is one poem in "Manyoushuu" Japan's oldest anthology of poems.
Poem means that clouds trailing along mountain remind the author of his dead wife.
Japanese have the idea "Yaoyorozu" which means there are spirits in anywhere.
Our ancestors were used to discover many sprits and souls in the nature.
They thought that nature and spirits were mixed such as a spiral,
and worshiped the deceased each time looked at mountains and clouds.
This is cinerary urn in which to put bones of the deceased.
Seeing this urn, and recall the ancestral spirit and casually have feeligs of reverence.
