Ken: I recently have found that Manga is fun and am now becoming more
interested in it. Do you two have any particular Manga you like?
ケン:「ねぇ、最近漫画の面白さに気づいていろいろ興味があるんだ。ヨウコさん、
ミサさんは何か好きな漫画ってあるの？」
Yoko: I like "One Piece". What impress me in the story are the importance
of friendship and the characters' single-minded passion.
Do I sound like I'm escaping to a fantasy world? How about you, Misa?
ヨウコ:「私は今は『ワンピース』が好きよ。仲間や友情、まっすぐな気持ちなどを
読むと感動なのよね。これって現実逃避かな笑ミサさんは何が好きなの？」
Misa: I am passionate about "Chihayafuru". Do you know it?
This manga is about Karuta, traditional Japanese playing cards. There
are many people who read it at Cafe Eikaiwa. So, the other day, I
played Hyakunin-Isshu one type of Karuta with them.
I am going to leave it at that. Otherwise, I will keep talking about this topic
forever. Anyway, what is your favorite, Ken?
ミサ:「私は今『ちはやふる』にハマってます！知ってますか？『ちはやふる』は競
技かるたの漫画なんですけど、カフェ英♪でも読んでる友達が多くて先日一緒に百
人一首をやりました！
あ、これも語りだすと長くなるのでここで止めておきますね w ケンさんは今は何
を読んでいるんですか？」
Ken: I've started reading "SLAM DUNK". When I said "I have never read
"SLAM DUNK", my friend said to me "You are missing out on so much
fun!". After that, he lent me all volumes. Though I haven't finished reading
them all, I really enjoy them a lot!
ケン:「僕は今『スラムダンク』を読み始めたんだ。この間も漫画の話になって、友
達に「スラムダンクはまだ読んだ事ないよ。」って言ったら、「スラムダンクを読
んだ事がないなんて人生損してるよ！」とまで言われて全巻貸してくれたんだ。今
はまだ読んでるところだけど、面白いよー。」
