of Myanmar has already launched a new economic policy. This new

Thein, H.E. U Thurain Thant Zin, Ambassador of the Republic of the
Union of Myanmar in Tokyo, ministers and executive officials, will
all attend MIPIM JAPAN - ASIA PACIFIC 2016 as official guests of
the Japanese government. During this Myanmar session, a new
urban development policy will be presented for the consideration of
international investors and companies for investment in Myanmar. In
particular, there will be a specific explanation of the administration of
public spaces like roads, lakes, rivers and parks, the new purpose and
theme of zoning, administrative procedures, as well as infrastructure
maintenance plans. Myanmar would like to cooperate with the
Japanese government and Japanese investors for the long term and
sustainable development in Myanmar.

in the real estate industry. Fueled by the rise of AI, big data and more,
entrepreneurs attempting to disrupt the sector are emerging in Japan
as well. How much of an impact will the digital revolution have on
the traditionally conservative real estate industry? How much do we
as real estate professionals need to prepare for it? Drawing from the
impact of fintech on the finance industry, this session will discuss
the value that technology brings to the real estate sector. Disruptive

Expanding the infrastructure market in Asia. In developing countries,
the main target is to speed up maintenance itself in order to obtain
stable economic growth. In the case of advanced countries, a key target
is to obtain financial resources by cutting away from public facilities and
reproducing infrastructure facilities using private sector experiences.
These objectives are all urgent subjects. In Japan, infrastructure business
is strongly related to the sales of concessions at the Kansai and Itami
Airports. This session will present a heated discussion on the challenges
of infrastructure investment and opportunities in Asia by professionals
who are top executives on both the international and domestic sides.
It is not so obvious to place sport high on the agendas of cities
makers, including it in decisions relative to city planning, architecture,
education, or communities. However, being a healthy city positively
impact overall citizen wellbeing, attractiveness and value of the area.
Beyond setting healthcare infrastructures, what is it to become a
healthier city and achieve a good quality of life?
Listed J-REITs with market capitalization of 10 trillion JPY and
privately-placed J-REITs with total asset management of 2 trillion
JPY. Today, attentions of investors are attracted on J-REITs, that offer
stable investment income and attractive yield spread while expanding

invest or consider investing in offshore real estate and infrastructure.
The background is their intention for risk diversification, lower
economic growth and limited opportunities of real estate investment

New supply of limited-service hotels in major cities are increasing
corresponding to accommodation demand surge thanks to increase
of inbound visitation to Japan. But what about urban resorts and
