No.１４９Bilingual 2ヶ国語無事に帰国！ They're Back! 3月29日の深夜にサンフランシスコへ中高生海外体験旅行に参加したメンバーは無事小坂町に帰りました。とても充実した様子を研修旅行で、中高生10名と引率者1名に一言感想を届けてもらいました。 Participants of the Overseas Experience Trip to San Francisco returned safely to Kosaka late at night on March 29. It seems like the students truly enjoyed themselves. Here are some of their thoughts on the experience. Jari and Yukari 「今回の研修旅行では、思っていた以上に得るものがたくさんありました。不安だったホームステイもジェスチャーをお互いに使い合って、最高の一週間をおくることができました。サンフランシスコの魅力にもたくさんひかれたし、機会があれば、また行きたいです。」 "I got a lot more out of this trip than I had expected. While I was concerned about my homestay, my host family and I used gestures and communicated well with each other. It was a great week. I was struck by San Francisco's charm and hope to return there in the future if I have the opportunity." 「アメリカの人々や文化にふれ、貴重な時間を有意義に過ごすことができました。また、アメリカの良い所だけではなく、日本の良い所も改めて考えることができました。思い出に残る楽しい研修旅行でした。」 "I was able to have a precious and meaningful experience interacting with the people and culture of the United States. The study tour was both memorable and enjoyable, and it helped me see the good points of both the United States and Japan." 「日本とは、食べ物や家など、違うところがたくさんありました。そのようなアメリカ独得の文化にふれ、学んでくることができました。とても満足のいく研修旅行だったと思います。」 "There were many things in the US such as food and homes that were different from Japan. I was able to experience the US' unique culture and learned many things. It was a very satisfying study tour." I'd like to try to live in San Francisco in the future." 「今回の研修旅行は、たくさんの事を学んだ。言葉が通じなくても、ジェスチャーや単語を並べるだけでも理解してくれたので、とても良いコミュニケーションになったと思う！」 "I learned many things during this study tour. I'd like to go to San Francisco again some day." 「この度の研修旅行の日程は、実に内容が充実しておりました。子供たちにとっては、毎日の生活すべてが研修そのものでした。それぞれが小さな事から大きな事まで多くの経験を積み、いろんな事を考え、行動ができた事に今さらながら驚いております。SIを出発する時、子供たちは、口々に「もっと滞在したい！」とにこやかに言ったものです。この研修が成功したことを実感した一瞬でした。」 "The itinerary for this year's study tour was truly fulfilling. Every part of every day was training for the students. Each participant thought about various things and had their own range of unique experiences. Even now everyone is surprised with how they handled themselves overseas. When the group left SI, the students stated, "I want to stay longer!" At that moment, I realized that this trip had been a success." 保護者の声 A Word From The Guardians Ben and Taisei 「最初は不安もありましたが、毎日楽しく過ごすことができました。私は今回の研修旅行でたくさんのことを学び、貴重な経験をさせていただきました。それは、たくさんの方々のご支援があってこそできたことだと思います。ありがとうございました。この研修旅行で得たものを大切にして、これからの生活にいかしていきたいです。」 "While I was nervous at first, I was able to enjoy myself every day and learned many things during this study tour. I was given the chance to have such a precious experience thanks to the support of so many people. Many thanks to all of you. I cherish the things that I've gained from this trip and hope to incorporate them into my life from now on." 「私は海外体験旅行に参加させていただき、本当に良かったなと思います。初めて海外に行き、ホームステイや観光をする中で日本との違いを肌で感じました。それは私にとってとても貴重な体験ばかりでした。そしてこれからもっと英語を勉強したいと思いました。」 "I'm so glad that I had the chance to participate in the Overseas Experience Trip. It was my first time in a foreign country, and during both my homestay and the group's sightseeing, I was able to truly feel the differences between the US and Japan, which was a very precious experience for me. I'd like to study English more from now on." ♪ 海外体験旅行について、保護者の方々にもご意見をうかがいました。 We also asked the participants' guardians to share their opinions about the Overseas Experience Trip. この不況の中、心よく受け入れてくださったホストファミリーや引率者の方々にとても感謝しております。初めて参加させていただき、貴重な体験が沢山出来た事、また無事に帰国出来た事、嬉しく思っております。本当にお世話になりました。有難うございました。今回の旅行はとてもいい経験になったと思います。外に出て、日本の良さも分かった様です。英語をもっと勉強したいという気持ちも少し出てきた様です。参加させていただき良かったです。ありがとうございました。初めての海外旅行で一人でホームステイをし、とても心配でしたが、喜んで帰って来たので、安心しました。この研修旅行の関係者の方々には大変お世話になり、感謝しております。初めての海外、そしてホームステイ生活と親子共々準備から不安でいっぱいでしたが、準備会から細かい配慮により、とても楽しんで参加し、一回り大きくなって帰ってきた様に思えました。子供にとって、とても思い出深い旅行となった様です。ドムさん、馬渕さん、協会の皆様に大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございます。異文化での生活で戸惑うかと心配でしたが、帰省後の子どもの姿を見て充実した旅行だったと思いました。本人の人生観がChangeするほど、いろんな学びや体験があったようです。本当に有意義な体験ツアーでした。感謝しております。お世話になりました。不安混じりの表情で向った娘が自信あふれる表情で帰って来ました。ご支援をくださった方々に感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。帰りの飛行機がもう少し早いのか、その日、東京泊でもと思いました。子どもたちも迎える方も疲れが出でいたかな？色々なお話を聞きましたが、都市なりにとても緑が多い所でホームステイ先の家族もとても優しく、とても楽しかったそうです。文化の違いを体験する事で本人に良い影響を与えたと思います。日本文化の会に参加して Let's Learn About Japanese Culture 私は今回「日本文化の体験」でお茶のお点前をさせていただきました。極度の緊張の中、力不足ではありますが、なんとか大任を果たすことができ、ほっとしています。とても貴重な経験をさせていただき、ありがとうございました。またお茶会のほかにJICA研修員によるお雛様の飾りつけや、扇子を投げて先にある的を落とし、得点を競う「投扇興」という日本古来の遊びも行われました。投扇興は扇子を投げる方向や力の入れ具合が難しく、思うように的に当てることができませんでした。優勝はJICA研修員の方でしたが、次回は私も優勝争いに残れるように頑張りたいと思います。我こそはと思われる方、次回の日本文化の会でお会いしましょう！ I was given the opportunity to lead the tea ceremony for this winter's Experience Japanese Culture event. I felt unqualified and extremely nervous in this role, but I was somehow able to accomplish the important task set before me, which is a relief. Thank you for allowing me to have this very valuable experience. In addition to joining the tea ceremony, JICA participants helped decorate Japanese dolls and put them on display. A tosenkyo tournament - a timehonored Japanese game that consists of throwing fans to knock over a target - was also held. It was difficult to gauge how to throw the fans, and as expected, I was unable to hit the target. The champion was one of the JICA participants. Next time I want to do my best to advance to the final round, too. For those who would like to pay via electronic bank transfer, here is the account information: 秋田銀行小坂支店・普通・２９３２５３小坂町国際交流協会会長大森昌雄よろしくお願いいたします。 Thank you for your cooperation. ය༻ŅſƎƇħཹဏ ̙̲́́͊Ώ̶̖̲̈́̓ͅ˽Ώ̜̲̼̲̀̈́˲ 中高生海外体験旅行に参加した高校生4人に手伝ってもらい、国際交流員のドミニックのもとで、4月19日にイースターパーティーを開催しました。アメリカ文化を紹介してもらいながら、小学生１８名は食紅や色ペン、シール等でエッグを飾ったり、ゲームとエッグ探し等を楽しみ、最後に一緒に甘∼いお菓子を食べました。 On April 19, KIS held an Easter party for the children of Kosaka with the help of four Overseas Experience Trip participants and Kosaka's CIR Dominic. While learning about American culture, eighteen elementary school students decorated eggs using dye, markers, and stickers, played games, hunted for Easter eggs, and enjoyed some delicious snacks. After the event, a few students gave us their opinions on the party. িńŝŉĿőşĨ ̶̔̀̾̾̿̈́ͅΏ̗̓̀̾Ώ̶̹ͅΏ̵̜̺̈́ 「卵探しが楽しくて、お菓子が美味しかった。来年もきっと来ます。」（小3 佐々木かな） "The Easter egg hunt was fun, and the snacks were delicious. I'll definitely come next year." (Kana Sasaki, 3rd Grade) 「卵ゲームで全部１位だったのでよかった。卵探しでは１２個も見つけたので嬉しかった。来年もまた、来たいです。」（小3 木村ゆうま） "I came in first in all of the games and found twelve Easter eggs! I'm so happy! I want to come to the Easter party again next year." (Yuma Kimura, 3rd Grade) 「卵ゲームが楽しかった。卵探しの時ににせものの卵を４個も見つけられて良かった。」（小３花岡まい） "The games were a lot of fun. I'm glad that I found four plastic eggs during the Easter egg hunt." (Mai Hanaoka, 3rd Grade) 「卵探しが楽しかったです。アメリカの子供たちがこんなことをしているのをはじめて知りました。」（小５木村はるか） "The Easter egg hunt was fun. This is the first time I learned that children in the United States do these types of things for Easter."
