「IMGアカデミー」の睡眠をエアウィーヴがサポート。
株式会社エアウィーヴ（愛知県額田郡幸田町、代表取締役社長：高岡本州）が製造販売
するマットレスパッド「エアウィーヴ」は、米フロリダ州にあるトップアスリートを養成
する世界最大級の施設「IMGアカデミー」に新しくできる宿泊寮の全てのベッド（500床）
に導入されます（2013年の9月までに導入完了）。また、日本企業としては初めてIMGアカ
デミーとスポンサー契約を締結しました。期間は、2013年2月〜2016年1月末の3年間です。
科学的プログラムで育成に取り組むアカデミーでは、未来のトップアスリートの睡眠を
支えるために、2年前から一部の部屋でエアウィーヴのマットレスパッドが導入されて
いました。この度の契約締結によって、エアウィーヴは、さらに本格的にアカデミーに
おける睡眠のサポート活動を進めてまいります。具体的には、アカデミーの学生達の睡眠
コンディショニングのサポートに加え、睡眠がパフォーマンスに及ぼす影響など、
スポーツ科学の視点からの研究も進めて、未来のスーパースターたちの健全な成長に寄与

日本の寝具メーカーのリーダーであるエアウィーヴは、マットレスパッドの公式スポン
サーとしてIMGアカデミー（以下、IMGAという）に加わりました。合意条件によると、
学生たちの休息やリカバリーを最大限サポートするために2013年の6月に完成する新しいI
MGAの寮の全室に画期的なマットレスパッドを導入いたします。IMGAでトレーニングを
受けている生徒やコーチは、エアウィーヴの独占的なカテゴリーでの新製品の製品開発や
リサーチに協力する役目を担っています。
「リカバリーすることは、アスリートにとっても非常に重要な要素であります。私たちの
学生がトレーニング後の体力を回復させパフォーマンスの頂点を目指すことができるよう

airweave joins IMG Academy as official mattress pad sponsor
Bradenton, Fla. (March 1, 2013) – airweave, Japan’s leading producer of sleep accessories,
has joined IMG Academy as the official mattress pad sponsor. Under the terms of the agreement,
airweave will furnish every bed within the new IMG Academy Residence Hall, scheduled for
completion in June 2013, with its innovative mattress pads to maximize student-athletes’ rest and
recovery. IMG Academy trainees and their coaches will also play a role in the development and
innovation behind airweave’s research toward new products in their exclusive category.
