Telemetered Dahl-Salt Sensitive Rats
The normal salt group was maintained on 0.3% NaCl for the entire 8-week study period. Groups
2-6 were placed on high salt (8% NaCl) at week 0, with their respective treatments beginning at
week 2. 24-hour urine samples were collected using metabolic cages for microalbumin
determination (n=8/group).
