We are made to give and to receive love as God does. ティーンエイジャーの私が「今までで聞いた中で一番美しい！」と思っ た事を覚えています。 • だから愛はこんなに素晴らしい！と思いました。 • だから、愛し愛される事は、私達の心奥深くにあるのです。 • 私達は神様ご自身のかたちとして作られました。私達は神が そうするように、愛を与え、愛を受けるように造られたのです。 2 Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to ‘Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. • This is what we were made for! イエスは、 「心を尽くし、知恵を尽くし、力を尽くして、主を愛し、また隣 人をあなた自身のように愛する」ことは一番素晴らしいおきてだと言い ました。 • まさにそのように私達は造られたのです！ So what went wrong? 一体何が狂ってしまったのでしょう？ Listen to this answer from Michael Reeves, It was not that Adam and Eve stopped loving. They were created as lovers in the image of God, and they could not undo that. Christ… suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, (I Peter 3:18) 数年後、このペテロが何故イエスがこの世に来たのかを描きました。 キリストも一度罪のために死なれました。正しい方が悪い人 々の身代わりとなったのです。．．．私たちを神のみもとに導く ためでした。（１ペテロ 3:18） 4 Peter is saying, • He went to that cross so that people like us who love the wrong things and so • feel that we don’t belong anywhere near God • should be brought back to Him. ペテロはこう言います。 • 間違った事を愛してしまい、神の近くにはいられない、 • と感じる私達のような人々が神の下に戻って来られるよう、 • イエスは十字架にかけられたのです。 This was what Jesus had in mind when he went to the cross. • On the night He was betrayed, he prayed to the Father: • ‘that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them (Jn 17:26) これは、イエスが十字架に磔られた時にイエスが思った事です。 • ある夜、彼は裏切られ、父に祈りました。 • あなたがわたしを愛してくださったその愛が彼らの中にあり、 またわたしが彼らの中にいるためです。（ヨハネ 17:26） That is an amazing prayer! • That the love with which the Father has loved the Son…. • the love that has always flowed in heart of God should be in us! なんと素晴らしい祈りなのでしょう！ • 父が子を愛するその愛、 • 神の心の中にいつもある愛が私達の中にもいるのです！ The great purpose for which Jesus suffered was to bring us into His own enjoyment of the Father’s love. • That we should share in the mutual delight of the Father and the Son, and be caught up in the circle of their love. イエスが苦しんだ偉大な目的とは、私達にも、イ エ ス 自 身 が味わった 父の愛の下に私達を連れて行く事でした。 • 私達が父と御子の喜びを共にシェアするべきで、彼らの愛の 中にいるべきだ、という事なのです。 That is surely why at the end of the Bible you have the marriage supper of the lamb. • The shared joy of the Father, and of His Son, and of His bride. • This is the great storyline of the Bible: It is the great story of love. だから、聖書の最後にある通り、あなたには小羊の婚姻があるのです 。 • 父と御子、その花嫁の共にある喜び。 • 聖書の素晴らしい物語の道筋です。これは愛の偉大なる物語 です。 That’s why we are in the Song of Solomon We have this story of a king’s love for his bride, and the bride’s だから、私達は雅歌の中に書かれているのです。 王の花嫁に対する愛、花嫁の夫に対する愛の物語がここにあります。 5 love for her husband. • Think about what it meant for this lady who loved the king; • the bride on whom the King’s love was showered • Solomon was known around the world for his wealth. So in becoming his, the bride would find herself surrounded by servants: The new life that she would enter was unimaginably rich. • • • 王を愛したこの女性にとってそれが一体どういう意味を為す のか考えてみてください。 王の愛が花嫁に降り注がれました。 ソロモンは、その豊かさで世界中に知れ渡っていました。です から彼の物になるという事は多くの召使い達に囲まれた想像 もできない豊かな生活が待っている、という事でした。 But in all of this book, she does not say a word about any of that. • Her song is not about the lifestyle into which the King had brought her. • It is about the King himself! Her love for Him and His great love for her. しかしこの本の中で、彼女はそれについては一切触れていません。 • 彼女の歌は王がもたらしてくれたライフスタイルについてでは ありません。 • その歌は王自身の事なのです！彼女の王への愛と王の彼女 への愛です。 And this is beautifully captured in our verse today: I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, (Song 6:3). Let’s focus in on this word ‘Beloved.’ The relationship of Christ and His people is a bond of love. そして、これが今日の箇所の中に描かれています。 私は、私の愛する方のもの。私の愛する方は私のもの。(雅歌 6:3） この「愛する」という言葉に注意してください。キリストと彼の民の関 係は、愛の繋がりです。 1. Beware of the gold digger mentality I checked the dictionary for a definition of gold digger and this is what I found in Merriam-Webster １．金 目 当 ての 女 の 心 理 に 注 意 しなさい 金目当てという言葉を辞書で調べたところ、メリアムウェブスターでは こう書かれていました。 「金目当て」；お金と彼からの贈り物目当てに金持ちの男と恋 愛関係になる事、又はそうなろうとする女の事。 gold digger (noun) a woman who becomes or tries to become romantically involved with a rich man in order to get money and gifts from him That seems to be to be a somewhat sexist definition, since I am sure it can happen the other way round. これは性差別的な意味に見えますが、反対にこう考える事もできます 。 6 • • • Think about this with me. Picture a rich widow. This lady is very wealthy. She lives in a marvelous home, enjoys exotic vacations etc. A man comes alongside her. He gets romantically involved with her, and in the end he marries her. He enjoys all the benefits of the life that he now shares with her. But he does not love her. The truth is that he never did. You would call him a gold digger. • You would think him selfish, dishonorable, unworthy. • And you would be right. この男についてどう思いますか？ • 彼を尊敬はしないでしょう。あなたは彼を金目当ての男、と呼 ぶでしょう。 • 彼が、自己中心的で、恥ずべき事で、価値の無い男、と思う 事でしょう。 • そしてあなたは正しいことでしょう。 But is this not precisely how we have often regarded Jesus Christ. • He owns heaven and He can get us out of hell. • He can get the blessing of God for us, and that’s what we want so we ‘accept Him.’ • Isn’t that a strange way for Christian to talk about our Savior ‘accepting Christ.’ I would never say that I ‘accepted’ my wife. Get out of hell. Get into heaven • Get God on your side! • But very little love for Jesus Christ. He says three things... キリストは、エペソの教会で金目当ての心を持つ信者の特徴を挙げて います。彼は 3 つの事を挙げています。 a. I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, (Rev 2:2). 2 a わたしは、あなたの行いとあなたの労苦と忍耐を知っている。（黙示 The Pursuit of God, page 12. 8 • So here are people who are hard workers in the church. Staunch, loyal folks who stick at it with steady tenacity 録 2:2） • 教会には働き者がいます。忠実で誠実で、しっかりとした不屈 の精神をもった人々です。 b. You cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false, (Rev 2:2) • So here are people of strong moral integrity, sticklers for truth. • All of which is commended by Christ. b． あなたが、悪い者たちをがまんすることができず、使徒と自称し ているが実はそうでない者たちをためして、その偽りを見抜いたことも 知っている。（黙示録 2:2） • 強く道徳的な正直さを持ち、真実以外を許しません。 • これらは全てキリストによるおきてです。 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first (Rev 2:4). しかし、あなたには非難すべきことがある。 あなたは初めの愛から離れてしまった。 （黙示録 2:4） You are doing the work. Beware of looking to Christ for what He can give you, and not really loving Him. When did you last tell the Lord that you love Him? • Don’t let today or any day end without that • I am my beloved’s and my beloved in mine The best time of all to tell The Lord that you love Him is when you experience pain and loss. • There’s nothing surprising about a Christian who loves God when life is going well. • But Christians who love God when His good gifts are taken away • demonstrate to heaven and to hell that they really do love God and not just His gifts. This was the main point of the book of Job, which begins with Satan’s great slander against God. • ‘The only reason Job loves You, is that You have filled his life with blessings. • You have showered him with wealth; You have surrounded him with loved ones. • Job is blessed and he knows where his bread is buttered. • That’s why he loves You!’ Hell knows nothing of love. • Satan cannot believe that anyone would love God for who He is. • So he slanders God by accusing Him of buying Job’s • • • 教会のいのち、クリスチャンのいのちは、キリストの私達への 偉大なる愛を反映するキリストへの愛のなかにあります。 金目当ての心理に注意しなさい。 キリストがあなたに何を与える事が出来るのかを気にしすぎ て、主を愛する事を忘れてはいけません。 最後に主を愛している事を伝えたのはいつですか？ • それなしで一日を終わらせる事はしないでください。 • 私は、私の愛する方のもの。私の愛する方は私のもの。 主にあなたが彼を愛している事を伝える一番良い時は、あなたが苦し んでいる時や大切なものを失った時です。 • 人生がうまく行っている時に神を愛するクリスチャンは普通で す。 • しかし、神からの贈り物が取り去られた時に、神を愛するクリ スチャンは、 • 天国への道をはっきり示し、神からの贈り物だけでなく、神自 身を本当に愛している事を伝えます。 これは、サタンの神に対するひどい中傷から始まるヨブ記のメインポ イントでした。 • ヨブがあなた（神）を愛している理由は、あなた（神）が彼の人 生を祝福で満たしているからだけです。 • あなたは、彼に富を降り注ぎ、彼を愛する者で囲んだからだ。 • ヨブは祝福され、彼は幸運にありついている事を知っているの です。 • だから彼はあなたを愛しているのですよ！ 地獄は愛について何も知りません。 • サタンはありのままの神を愛する人の事を信じる事が出来ま 10 affection. Well, you know the story: • One gift after another was stripped away from Job. • This godly man walked through the dark valley of pain • And struggled with many unanswered questions. • But he did not cease to love God Though he slay me, yet shall I trust Him. I know that my Redeemer lives and though worms destroy this body yet in my flesh, I shall see God. Enjoy the Strength of Christ’s Love This has been one of the aims of our series, that we will grasp the love of Christ more fully, and so come to love Him and others more deeply. Here I am focusing in on the second half of our verse. My beloved is mine (Song 6:3) One great blessing of being a Christian is that you can say, ‘Christ is mine!’ • There’s strength, peace, confidence, and security in that. • Christ is mine. I am in Him. He is in me. There was 12 nothing particularly personal about it. Then one day, I realized, ‘God loves me! Christ died for me.3 キリストは私 のために死んだのです。 私を愛し私のためにご自身をお捨てになった神の御子。 （ガラテヤ人への手紙２：２） The Son of God, loved me and gave Himself for me!
