Dec Page 2 International Medical News 司会のことば えられる。これらの講演を機会に漢方についての現代的な理解が出 漢方（東洋医学） 来たらいいかと思う。 日本国際医学協会理事 首 藤 紘 一 感想の講演（広部千恵子先生）は、漢方と近い存在である民間薬、 世界の薬用植物を主題とした話である。医薬同源ということは、健 この談話会は最新の医療についての話が多 甘草湯、大建中湯、葛根湯、六君子湯、補中益気湯などで、大部分 はエキス製剤であったが、少数ながら湯液も使用されていた。 漢 方薬が役に立つ理由としては、 「感冒・頭痛などのよく見られる疾 【講演Ⅱ】 患や、不定愁訴・心身症に使用しやすい」を 60% が選択した。 使用しにくい理由では、 「使用法がわからない」34%、 「多種類を 21 世紀における東洋医学の役割 常備するのが困難」33%、 に、拡張期血圧については従来の 100 来右膝が痛む。漢方治療を求めて来院。防已黄耆湯合桂枝茯苓丸加 から 90 に引き下げられている。すなわち、収縮期血圧 140 ～ 麻黄、しばらくして桂枝二超婢一湯加茯苓蒼朮附子烏頭防已黄耆牛 160、拡張期血圧 90 ～ 100 は、従来は非高血圧であったが現 膝延胡索を投与した。２年近く服薬し右膝の痛みがまったくなくな ～ 100 正常 150 以下 90 以下 単位：mmHg International Medical News Page 5 る所では、すべてのものが生き返る。漁師たちは岸辺に立ち、エン・ ゲディからエン・エグライムに至るまで、網を広げて干す所とする。 そこの魚は、いろいろな種類に増え、大海の魚のように非常に多く なる。しかし、その沢と沼はきれいにならず、塩を取ることができ る。川のほとり、その岸には、こちら側にもあちら側にも、あらゆ る果樹が大きくなり、葉は枯れず、果実は絶えることなく、月ごと に実をつける。水が聖所から流れ出るからである。その果実は食用 となり、葉は薬用となる。」（エゼキエル書 47：7 － 12） 最初の頃は、この聖書の言葉をヒントとしてエルサレムから死海 に流れる川沿いにある樹木の葉の薬効を調べてみた。まず既に知ら れているものとしては、オリーブの葉がある。オリーブは実と実か ら絞った油が健康的であるとして知られているが、オリーブの葉の 健康効果は昔から知られているのにあまり実用化されていない。オ リーブの薬効成分オレユーロピンは、実より葉に多く含まれ、その 加水分解物はさらに薬効が強くなる。そこで万能の抗ウィルス、抗 図1 菌、抗黴、抗寄生虫薬として多くの目的に使用できる。 プに滴下、炒め物に滴下などの使い方をすることが必要である。筆 者は、えごまソフトカプセルをつくり、食事に使用できないときは、 elaterium Satureja けることができる。しかしえごまも DHA/EPA と同様に n3 系の 脂肪酸であるから加熱調理はできない。サラダのドレッシング、スー elaterium Echbarium れを良くする薬との併用も危険である。これに比べてαリノレン酸 を主成分とするえごまの場合は、かなり安心して食用として使い続 fruiticosa Echbarium 題が起きてくることがある。胃カメラや大腸ファイバーを行う時も しばらくその服用をストップすることが必須である。また血液の流 sommnifera Salvia よる海洋汚染が進めば日本にものが摂取不可能になる可能性もあ る。EPA/DHA 製品を服用している人は、往々にして出血性の問 agnus-castus Aerial part 0 0 66 100 カプセルの形で服用している。 thymbra レモンマートル Backhousia citriodora レモンマートルは、現地では葉よりも、葉を水蒸気蒸留して取れ るオイルをいろいろのものに使用している。レモンマートルの主成 分は、シトラールで、レモンマートルの主成分は、シトラールで、 そのうち neral と geranial の比はオイルによって多少ちがい がある。Citral の含量は他の植物でこの成分を含むものに比べてか なり多くなっている（９０％以上）クインズランドなどの海岸線に 住んでいたアボリジニは、レモンマートルの葉を口唇ヘルペスなど に使用していたようである。 スクピーラ Bawdichia nitida スクピーラに関する研究はまだなされていないが、ブラジルでは、 長距離ダンプの運転手が、ドライブ中にこの種子を噛むと言われて いる。スクピーラは非常に硬い種子であるので、それをガム状にな るまでには、2 時間くらいかかるという。種子は、非常に硬く、樹 脂を多量に含んでいる。筆者らは、スクピーラがサイトメガとウィ ルスに対して効果があることを確認した。このことは、スクピーラ が、糖尿病、精神的障害、しびれなどに使用可能であることを示唆 している。 ω3（n3
