Petroleum economics
Fundamental rules and methods for a commercial proposal.
Concepts and difference between Exploration, D&P, and Uncon commercial.
To enhance knowledge/theory on petroleum economics, and practical approach on strategic
planning.
Topic to learn most: Petroleum Economics
Concerns / Challenges: I am new to Upstream business environment
Would appreciate the broadening of my understanding and application of financing and tax
principles and how to apply strategic planning for effectively in my area of work. Would be
interested in the full chain fundamentals of petroleum economics (including gas).
To better understand and learn on the strategic planning and finance/tax implications for petroleum
arrangments, and to further comprehend the work involved in petroleum economics. By grasping
the overall concepts of such areas, it would immensely assist in a wholesome understanding of the
business and applying the same during the course of everyday work and negotiations.
Enhance understanding of Strategic & Commercial for Oil & Gas Industry especially related to
PETRONAS.
My expectations from the program for me to have practical knowledge and skills in managing
portfolio, conduct negotiations and decisions making for the business. Topics that i want to learn
the most are negotiation, petroleum economics and tax
