Now is the time I have to tell people that while I did put this list together for the betterment of serving those in
need, I can’t be held personally accountable for any incorrect information provided in this document. I did the
work putting this thing together. I looked at maps, and I drew circles on the maps to determine coverage of
the NWS Sterling, VA radar transmission, and then looked at the maps for the names of the counties in
Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia and then I accessed a website put together by other people who also
work as volunteers (I think!) in order to assemble this document. I fought with my computer which is
operating on an ancient form of Microsoft Word in order to put it together.
Information is changing constantly about what repeaters are ON or OFF. There are also other criteria about
the repeaters which have to be considered. Antennas that are used and the height on the facility in which they
are used is changing on a daily basis as well. I observed all these things many times even in the short time it
took me to develop this list. I’m amazed how fast things can change in this context. We can expect however
that laws of averages are going to prevail that the information contained here about the majority of the
repeaters in service are going to continue being available for the reason they were put into service in the first
place for a long, long time.
Please use this information for the same purpose the repeaters that this document discusses were put into the
service they were put into. To help others who can’t help themselves!
