Ms Kate Malone,
Director of Human

Ms. Kate Malone was appointed as Director of Human
Resources in October 2015.
Her role is to support organisational change through
strengthening the strategic HR function, while ensuring that the
HR team continue to deliver appropriate and effective
operational support across Trinity. She is responsible for
leading the HR function in the delivery of the HR Strategic Plan
in line with the new College Strategy 2014-2019.

Louise has developed and is leading the seminar series.
She will be available at each of the seminars. And, will be

Louise is currently Learning and Development Manager, in
Human Resources, provides leadership and management in the
area of staff performance and learning and development,
delivering programmes and initiatives. A seasoned HR
professional, Louise has worked across a range of specialist
areas including recruitment and resourcing; industrial and staff
relations; equality; promotions; probations; pensions and
benefits. Louise has worked in Trinity College Dublin since
1984, having previously worked in a Faculty Office; a Student
Service Area; and Facilities. She has a special interest in
equality, justice, fairness and team development.

Jill will present in 3 seminars on Mentoring for Academic
Staff.
Jill has worked in Trinity College since 2008 having previously
worked in Recruitment. She joined the Human Resources Team
in 2014. In her current role as Learning and Development
Specialist, Jill’s specific areas of expertise include staff training
and development, management and leadership development,
induction, performance and development, competency
frameworks, mentoring, coaching, and funding support for
externally accredited courses, study and exam leave.
Jill holds a B.Comm. (N.U.I.), M.B.S. (N.U.I.), MSc in Human
Resource Management (N.U.I.), Dip. Mgt Prct (N.U.I.), Cert in
Training and Development. She is an Associate Member of the
CIPD and IITD.

David will present 6 seminars on the University’s three
pension schemes.
David joined Trinity College in December 2016 having
previously worked for Mercer. During his 15 years with Mercer
he worked on a number of private and public sector pension
schemes ranging from small to large multinational clients.

how to access your pay records and download your P60s.
Liza joined Trinity's HRIS team in August 2011. HRIS provides
support for all users of HR systems, including backend users
within HR and FSD, Core Portal and HR Forms Hub users across
Trinity. Liza is also involved in project work, developing new
functionality for HR systems and supporting users.
