It is always wonderful to see our parents involved in their child education. Also a special thank you to all that filled out the online parent survey, this information is a very important communication tool that we use for evaluating things that are working and things we need to improve on here at Woodland. Spring has sprung early so remember to check what your child is wearing as they leave the house in the morning. We are still going outside everyday so they need to have enough clothing to keep them warm and dry. March, April and May are big testing months for us here at Woodland. Please make sure your child is getting enough sleep and a good balanced diet so they can perform their very best! If you have a kindergartener for the 2015-16 please make sure you fill out and return the registration packet so that we can make plans for the upcoming year. Hoops for Heart Fundraiser Update: Thank you to all who have been collecting donations! Woodland staff and students were very generous and raised over $5,000.00. Way to go!!!!! Congratulations to the winners of the Creativity Contest. Maia Fuglestad, Maggie Anderson, Lane Thoennes, Ella Sorenson & Kylie Christenson. They were 80 students that entered their creative hats that were on display during conferences. Note from Nurses Office: If your child has borrowed clothing from school, please return to the Health Office - we are getting very low on clothes. Creative Woodland Students took part in designing the Ellingson Plumbing and Heating van, designs were submitted by Feb 27. The design chosen on March 26 will be on the van for a year.
