Venetian sculptor who spreads his creativity after his
studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. His art turns its

that leads him to suppress every decorative detail, aiming to the
most basic forms that stray into abstraction.

poss and agno (= lamb), which means “pool of the
lamb”. In fact even today it is a place of
transhumance for herds grazing in the meadows near
the town center. The importance of Possagno is
strongly linked to the famous sculptor Antonio
Canova, whose works stands out among the green
the Canova Temple, an imposing neoclassical
building, that he projected inspired by the Pantheon.

Venice
The city on the water
Called Venetia, the "X Regio" in the Roman Empire
was formed from the territories we now know as
Veneto, Friuli, Trentino and Istria. It seems that
Venice was born as a result of the influx of refugees
who, abandoning the Po valley under the pressure of
Lombards invasions from northern Italy, withdrew in
the 118 islands of the lagoon.
