The public is invited to visit the O.H. Hinsdale Rhododendron Garden east of Reedsport along Highway 38 on Saturday, May 21 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Coos Bay District staff and American Rhododendron Society members will be on hand to answer questions and give tours.

The recently reauthorized Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act provides funds for Title II projects that are on Federal lands or that benefit Federal lands. Individuals, non-profit organizations, organized groups and local governments are all candidates to receive competitive funding with Title II projects. Applications must be received by August 10, 2012.
